Yercaud is one of good hill station in Tamil Nadu. The climate will be awesome and very good for photo shoot. There is no much place to visit, if you have bike then its good advantage. And its very cheap too, for average family can enjoy their trip.

Not much action packed in this place. But a good getaway for weekends. If you are drivable distance from Salem its a good place. The food is also ok but at select place and its more known as Poor Man's Ooty

The moment we reached Yercaud it was a sudden chill and the complete environment was very soothing. It was a beauty to watch and be a part, we had been at a time when the flower show was to be held :) enjoyed the place and liked visiting the temples and estates.

Yercaud is a nice place however don't keep much expectations. It is a very small place with less of options. May be good for a one night stay

Nothing much to write except travelog below - plan a trip to Yercaud over a weekend and that should be it. Its a place of more peace and tranquility rather than some breathtaking attractions. Couple of view points like Lady's seat and Pagoda point are worth enjoying, sitting and relaxing in cool breeze. However, overall Climate is not much of... More

I had traveled to Yercaud last week and loved the chill in the air. Very few places in South India which had it. We went to a no of temples - they were quiet and peaceful - away from hustle and bustle of the cities. We also went to a lake which had boating options. No of good places to... More

It is certainly pleasant to leave the thick traffic of Salem behind and negotiate the 20 hairpin bends that take you to the top . There is a noticeable drop in temperature and the air becomes wonderfully fresh . Don't be afraid to stop and look around on the way up , be watchful some of the driving I could... More
