We have some view points there.. its worth wandering there in Yercaud.. We went there may15-17.. and there were some drizzle through out the day.. so.. it gifted us some fog.. and that's it! Great choice for couples and friends!! We have all types of stay there!! Point is that, almost 60% of view points are over-hyped.. Still a mind... More

This is crazy trip. I went on a Saturday recently through my two-wheeler. After reaching the lake area I parked my bike and went for a run in two different areas. A place with cool temperature all over the year.Nearest Railway Station is Salem which is 22 Km from Yercaud.Buses both private and Government buses available almost every half hour from Salem.Many Cab operators also available on call.A nice place both for weekend getaway and also to enjoy cool climate. Being a small hillstation with just enough facilities, this place I felt was better than big ones like ooty, kodaikanal or even coorg as its not too crowded, infrastructure is good and all attractions are close by and can been seen in leasure. Pickup any descent Inns. Don't go for cheaper. Right Dough for right Donut. Be careful when selecting hotel and Inns advised by local brokers.
