We stayed in the Otterburn superior - a lovely spacious lodge with hot tub. Both very clean. Highly recommend watching the stars whilst in the hot tub. Not a great deal going on, but plenty of walks and local attractions. Leaplish shop is reasonably priced, ideal for basics.

My partner and i booked a lodge here to just relax and explore the amazing dark skies, we were not dissapointed, the lodge was fantastic and cosy. The park is lovely and well looked after and the reception staff and maintenance staff were very helpful and very efficient. We will be going back to the park as soon as our... More

Spent three nights in an Otterstone superior lodge. Couldn't fault the lodge, extremely comfortable and well equipped, the hot tub is a must, no better way to view the starry kielder skies! We went off peak so a couple of attractions were closed but still plenty to do. Nice pub on site (the boathouse inn) and nice little indoor pool... More

Had four lovely nights in a lodge (Hareshaw Superior) at Kielder last week, and wish we'd stayed for longer. The lodges were clean, I paid extra (well, used Tesco vouchers!) for a hot tub and gained a magnificent view (chalet 31) and a bit of extra space compared to the standard cabin some family members were staying in (still well... We had a lovely lodge with a well appointed kitchen, 2 bedrooms, two bathrooms and a lounge. There were plenty of outdoor activities available and there are miles of pathways for walks some of which are accessible with wheelchairs and mobility scooters. We used the swimming pool area which we all enjoyed. I spent a couple of hours in the... More

The lodges are very well appointed, clean and warm. The swimming pool area was great. There is plenty to do outdoors and loads of good walks. I went with 5 friends and we all enjoyed it.

We only went to Leaplish for the afternoon. It was lovely to be able to sit in the hide to watch the wildlife. We were really fortunate as we were also able to see 2 red squirrels. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The surrounding views are breathtaking. The hide looks out onto the water. Will be returning again.

My wife and I have just returned from a weekend stay in the otterburn superior lodge. A great weekend we've had as well. All the staff we came across were very friendly especially in the on site bar. The lodge itself was very clean, tidy and comfortable. Watching the stars in the hot tub is a must!! TIP: if you... More

We stayed at Leaplish in February half term in our motorhome and had a great stay. The site is spotless and all the staff are genuine, helpful and generally seem to enjoy doing what they do. There are plenty of activities for children including snorkeling (in the pool), swimming, archery... plus we did some lovely walks and bike rides on... More
