Started with breakfast at the restaurant, terrible service, the waiter was sniffing and obviously haf a bad cold. He brought what couldn't be described as porridge which we had to ask him to swap, :-(he then brought the wrong cereal to replace this. On the plus side our dog was allowed in. As a base we then went cycling, we... More

This is our favourite section of Kielder so far and we spent almost a whole day there this year. There's the Bird of Prey centre, red squirrel hide, crazy golf, archery on certain days, walking and bike trails, food and places to stay as well. Sadly we didn't catch any red squirrels this year, but we'll be back soon to... More

Lovely peaceful location, loads to do with boats, pool with snorkelling , birds of prey, osprey watch with very knowledgable volunteers. Lovely lunch and loads to do However plan ahead as events, tours and activities run at certain times and days.

Went with an expectation of a family orientated adventure which may be the case but certainly not for kids under 5 ... No wifi in the cabin which was needed.. We went to the restaurant at 8.25pm as the bistro shuts earlier to be told the restaurant shuts at 8.30 !! So no wifi restaurant closes at 8.30 and bar... More

We stopped off here as part of a wider trip to Keilder and killed a very fun hour playing crazy golf. We hope to return for a stay on site soon (the lodges looked lovely).

I almost don't want to leave a good review as it's such a lovely place I don't want it to become too hard or expensive to book a lodge! We got a great deal on the cheviot superior. It was really comfortable and had everything we needed. We took our 4 & 1 year olds and they provided everything we... More

Third visit to leaplish and we love it here, so beautiful and peaceful, (ideal to get away from it all). The lodges are just perfect, and have everything you could need. There is even a welcome pack of tea, coffee, sugar and milk just in case you have forgotten something. They are warm and very comfortable,

Just had a couple of nights at this lovely site in our campervan - it's AWESOME! Excellent facilities, wonderful walks /bike trails with breathtaking views. Without a doubt, the best campsite we've EVER stayed on (and there have been many!) A HUGE thank you to Wayne in Reception (what a lovely guy!) for the friendly welcome and for recommending the... Great home made cakes at the restaurant, enough to fuel you on for the next stage of the bike route.
