Really enjoyed our visit to Rosemoor and its a haven for butterflies and insects on the beautiful flowers in the cottage gardens. A bit of improved organisation needed when you arrive with only one admission window open where you pay and a long queue of people wanting to get in.

There is usually something happening here to keep the young ones occupied during school holidays. The gardens are wonderful. Woodland walks, orchards, lakes, vegetables, wild areas, long borders, ornamental gardens, playgrounds and places to explore for the children etc etc. something for all tastes and something to see all year round. Cafe, shop and plant centre

Had a lovely surprise when we got there, a trail about The Hobbit for the children which meant that we all visited parts of the garden we had not seen before. As always the gardens have inspired us to do more with our patch.

Sets of rooms, very kid friendly. Have taken mine from buggy to teens and they have loved every trip.

It is great to hear that your teenagers still enjoy visiting us, we do so much more for older children now and have archery and falconry days coming up which are all included in the price of your membership / admission fee. Kind regards. Oliver More

Such a lot to see here! We had under estimated how much time to give this visit and I think we will have to return next year to full appreciate this garden. There is so much to see and it's spread over a big area so it does take some time to cover. I really loved the cottage garden. The... More

This is a huge garden and - it is fair to say - I get in as part of RHS membership without payment. The gardens are magnificent with plenty of explanation and friendly staff who are knowledgeable. Food in the restaurant is excellent. The only beef I have with this place is that they charge "cash payers" EXTRA to use... More

Thank you for your review, the garden certainly is looking spectacular and the hot garden is really getting going now. With Gift Aid there are 2 options visitor attractions can take in order to claim. as you say one is to offer free return visits for a year and the other is to ask the visitor to make an optional... We visited today for the first time with my three young children (6 & 4), I was a little unsure if there would be enough to occupy them - how wrong I was!! The older one loved following a trail around searching for clues and the younger ones having to do a senses type scavenger hunt. Everything was superbly organised... More

We live in Devon, but I am ashamed to say that we've only just discovered this brilliant garden on our doorstep. I first visited with my 77 year old mother who loves a good walk - and she walked the legs off me as we explored the two woodland walks as well as visiting many of the gardens. On our... More

Thank you for taking the time to comment on Tripadvisor, I’m so glad you enjoyed your day at Rosemoor and we look forward to welcoming you back with your grandchildren, for one of our daily holiday events. The Wisteria Tea Room is a delightful place to relax at the other side of the garden, however it is very small and... More

I really don't know where to start praising Rosemoor. We went down with the aim to fill some time for my 4 year old. There was a Tolkien exhibition and a treasure hunt/quest around the garden which we thought might kill an hour or so. 5 hours later we left! The gardens are beautiful to walk through. I wouldn't classify... More

Thank you so much for your review, it is lovely to hear ho much you enjoyed the garden. I think it is difficult to see how much people of all ages will enjoy the garden and activities before visiting. That is why we offer the reclaim your entry fee on membership so visitors can try before they buy. If you... More
