Very much liked the friendly, apparently genuine staff. The place is exceptionally clean and well run. A look at the menu made me break my rule of never eating out. Why? Simple, the menu was short and limited - this means they can pay attention to getting it right. They did! Food was very good - dessert especially innovative. I... More

A fantastic day can be had by all the family. There is something to appeal for all ages. I live locally and enjoy visiting Rosemoor so much that I have bought an annual pass for the last two years. Each time I visit the gardens always look different and I never tire of it. Excellent value for money.

I am lucky enough to live close to Rosemoor and use it regularly. The gardens are fabulous and provide lots of ideas for budding or experienced gardeners. Walking through the forest and listening to the birdsong is restful and calming whilst also getting your exercise. You can finish off your visit with time in the newly refurbished restaurant. The hot... More

Thank you for your review, it is lovely to hear that you use the garden so well. Lunch time can get busy but if you head in nearer to 1 o'clock the queue has usually died down and the new till points with wireless card payment have definitely sped up the process. Hope to see you again soon. Kind regards.... More

This garden is one not to miss when visiting Devon. Formal compared with Marwood, but very attractive and being 60 acres you need time to see it all. Once I had visited and photographed as much of Lady Anne's garden as I could, I stopped by a small lake in the main garden. There I met a local lady who... More

The usual RHS attractions are all here for families to enjoy. There is always something for everyone, and lately they seem to specialise in entertaining children of all ages. Cafe is really nice with good food.

It is so good to hear that the things we are working towards are translating to our visitors and being appreciated. Thank you. We now have children's craft activities on most weekdays throughout the school holidays. These are always free for members or included in the admission fee so no nasty surprises. It is just so lovely to meander through these gardens and just have a seat every now and then to take in the smells and bird song. It is bliss to see all the varieties of flowers and vibrant colours.
