My wife and I visited Rosemore at Easter this year for the first time and I must say I do not generally go for large landscapes and the more commercially manufactured horticulture, so you can imagine my surprise when we walked out through the visitor lobby to a view that I really was not expecting, the area is broken up... Roses roses roses! This garden is so beautifully laid out and full of colour and scent. A truly stunning assault (in a good way!) of the senses. And when you are tired of the profusion there is the lake and meadow, so calm and peaceful, and lovely grounds to wander in. Plenty of benches to sit and dream on too.... More

Having followed the development of Rosemoor since Lady Ann passed it over to the Royal Horticultural Society I can truly recommend a superb garden area in a wonderful setting. From flowers to shrubs and roses and then the horticultural areas together with the lake and trees make this a must see attraction.

Rosemoor is a lovely restful place, different in style to the other RHS gardens we have visited. On arrival, we were impressed by the fabulous lush green grass, without a single weed in sight. There are plenty of benches around the gardens, where you can just sit and enjoy the view. As well as enjoying the gardens, we had a... More

Without doubt the best gardens we have visited in a long time. Great variation of themes and planting. Roses at their best - the perfume wonderful. Knowledgable staff always ready to give help and advice. Travelled from Bideford by bus and got a "green" discount on the entry fee. If we lived nearer we would be back regularly to see... More
