A stunning peak and one with a mystic which you can feel, it stands unconquered and proud and is revered as a sacred mountain for Tibetans you can't get enough taking pictures from all possible angles it's still wonderfully beautiful

Kawagarbo mean God of Snow Mountain in Tibetan and is the highest mountain in the province of Yunnan. It is also one of the most sacred mountain of Tibetan Buddhism and believed to be the spiritual home of a warrior god of the same name. Every year pilgrims by the hundreds of thousands circumambulate the peak, an arduous 240km trek.... More

I have never seen a peak more elegant and mystic. No wonder it's sacred o the Tibetans. The Mingyong glacier which flows of its flank is equally marvelous. Make sure your guide takes you up to Lian Hua Si (Temple) and not only to Tai Zi Si, because the lower end of the glacier is disappointing, only from Lian Hua... More
