We visited the temple and Anand Vihar. Both are awesome place. The Sansthan is really doing an excellent work in managing both. There are many facilities for the devotees and the tourists which are free but with small refundable deposit like wheelchair, baby pram (in Anand Vihar), Umbrellas & mats (in Anand Vihar) etc. We were really impressed with the... Normally, while planning a trip with family most difficult task is the search for a place which can satisfy expectations of every member of all age groups. Shegaon is a destination you can opt for with closed eyes. Have seldom came across a spiritual place which can match the sevabhav and polite behaviour of the sevakaris working without any gains... Shegaon is a very peaceful area, and aashrams run by trust are very good, maintained to such perfection that you will not find in many hotels....although far away from any other popular place, but must visit for some peaceful outing....

Here is the religious place where all are treated equally irrespective of their social class! There is complete discipline for darshan. You can give donations with receipts at the counters. The place is clean, and the prasad provided daily is simple lunch. We a group of six friends travelled from Mumbai and stayed at Anand Vihar. Advance booking is not... More

Shegaon is near Akola( 40 kms by road, 30 minutes by train). Many superfast trains, arriving from Bhusaval side or Nagpur side have a stop at Shegaon. From Akola, there are buses every 30 minutes. The town is small, but the sansthan is huge. Cleanliness pervades the premises. On Thursdays and holidays, there are serpentine queues to get in. Please... More

We used to visit this place very frequently for getting blessing of sri sant gajanan maharaj, This is one of the best religious place in India. The trusties are very concerned about the cleaniness, and this can be seen everywhere, that be in temple area or bhakt niwas. Very good arrangement of stay for devotees at a very reasonable rate...
