We had the most incredible experience at Corbett's, a once in a lifetime experience! Firstly we need to thank Ramesh, our ever willing guide and naturalist, whom we would probably have not seen and experienced what we did without him! In summary we saw a herd of nearly 50 wild elephants and the following day we saw two tigers mating... more

I am not one to write long lines of anything let alone about my travels but I did read so many good reviews here before making up my mind about going on this trip. I found them to be very useful so I thought I would try to help others too. I was going to keep it short but I... more

Jim Corbett is on of the great places to visit if you want to experience the real wild life experience. Make it a point to stay at the guest houses provided with the park management. One particular in Gairal will give you chill up the spine. The rooms are creepy and you hear various noises at night and cannot fathom... more

Like most people I started my research on where to go, what to do, where to stay in India on the net. Delhi was easy because my son lives and works there. We chose to take a day trip to Agra and the Taj Mahel. That left Corbett National Park and Kushani, which at first I tried arranging on my... more

Corbett Natioanl Park is a beautiful place to visit to see a variety of plants, birds and animals. I went with my boyfriend and we arranged to have a guide (Ramesh). This was really helpful because he spotted animals which we didn't and could tell us exactly what kind of animal/snake/bird it was and whether it was male or female.... more

We went to Jim Corbett National park just as a causal visit hoping to see some great wildlife as large number of visitors. Fortunately we got booking at Dhikala Visitors center which is at center of the national park. If you plan to visit Jim Corbett, and are really interested in seeing some tigers, my recommendation is to make all... more

I can't recommend doing a safari with Ramesh Suyal more. All the facts other reviewers give are correct about him. I did 2 days in April 09 and had a wonderful time. The only low point was I got a stomach bug on the last day (sorry Ramesh) at Ramesh's home when he kindly invited me for a last meal.... more

I was with my family in February 2009 & stayed in Safari Park Resort - Corbett. This resort is a budget wildlife resort with all facilities. My kids enjoyed the trip. Resort staff was very helpful & friendly. The food was nice & the ambiance was excellent. more

Having visited many parks around the world, and stayed in some fabulous accommodation. We were very pleasantly surprised by our experience at Corbett National Park. For wildlife viewing in India, we had already visited Bandhavgar, and Ranthambore, both of which, I found to be a little too touristic . On arrival at Corbetts Hideaway, in Corbett parks Buffer zone, I... more

Trip Report India (Delhi & Corbett National Park) 22/03/2009 – 28/09/2009 I spent a week at Corbett National Park and a few hours in Delhi birdwatching almost exclusively. I hired guides for my time in Corbett and together we managed a rather decent total given that I was about a month late for the optimal concentration of breeding species and... more
