This August we went on the 8 day trek in the Rwenzori Mountains with RTS and had the most amazing experience. The trek to Margherita Peak was quite a challenge but the guides, Uziah and Sam were very professional and helpful. Although cloudy and wet at times the scenery was spectacular and the camps were comfortable and well organised. I... More

The Snow capped Mt Rwenzori is breathtaking and I would recommend it for Hikers. Its ranges stretching through more than 100kms is amazing. Margherita peak is the highest and snow can be seen on clear morning hours.

My clients climbed the mountain for 4 days but the only problem was that it was raining almost the whole journey up and down the mountain. But all in all, they enjoyed it so much. Great achievement for them

I took a 3 days trekking to see how the forest feels like. I didnt have too much time and money but it was an unique experience. Getting through all the different plant zones I felt like going back to prehistoric times (4 meters tall fern!). Along with my guide we were looking for chimpanzees, but didnt manage to spot... More

I planned t trek to the highest point of the Rwenzori range but that didn't work out. This wasn't due to my guide or to the porters or food all of which were completely fine. I loved the Rwenzoris and I am glad that I trekked in them. The staff were great and I will be happy to recommend trekking... More

I have just returned from a 10-day trek with the RTS (Rwenzori Trekking Services) where a group of 7 of us spent 5 days trekking into the wonderful landscape that is the Mountains of the Moon, before spending a day reaching the highest summit, the Margherita Peak of Mount Stanley. This Summit Day was spectacular - setting off on a... More
