Fantastic

Real Africa. Raw and dangerous but what attracts the adventurer to the best wildlife available on this continent.

This is an absolutely outstanding trek which we completed in 6 days. We unfortunately booked through the above 'organisation', run by a clown called Israel, one of the most obnoxious and odious individuals I have had the misfortune to meet in many years in Uganda. We had to hire some equipment from them, crampons, ice pick and harness. We tested... More

travelling to the Rwenzori areas is a fascinating experience, looking at the kilembe mines areas where copper is mined & looking at how the floods from the top mountains how they destroyed & moved houses taking along their path very huge stones which cleared peoples houses.

the Rwenzori offer spectacular scenery! unusually large plants and tough trekking. RTS did an excellent job of ensuring we all enjoyed the trip and were more than well fed on the trip.

I am just back from a Rwenzori trek of 9 days with Rwenzori trekking services. I have been trekking in the Rwenzori 7 or so time in in the last 8 years using both Rwenzori Trekking Services (RTS) and Rwenzori Mountaineering Service (RMS). I go there for research, but I also love mountain climbing, so I can give a good... More

I have had a trek of 3 days with Rwenzori Trekking Services. I opted for a 3 days trekk at a steep 290$ + 105$ entrance fees per person (in a group of 4 people). The hike is quite tough and very steep but rewarding, the conditions while quite simple are made quite pleasant by the staff with quite nice... More

Again hitched from kadrrsr a little harder than expected. When you get to the mountains it's a whole different world chilly and very damp. Hit a lot of light raon. Vegetacian was different and locals really friendly. A nice trip

The Rwenzori mountains are spectacular, and to hike over them is even more amazing. We trekked over the mountains to the next town so you can see all the way to the Blue Mountains in the Congo. The forest is spectacular, from the dense tall trees to the old bamboo forest and the wild life was beautiful too. They really... More
