Well organised and friendly staff. The sky rail up is amazing. Little stops on the way to show you the rainforest. A fantastic view so try to go on a clear day. Arriving at the village Kuranda is lovely. Lots of huge fig trees line the streets of shops and markets. There is a lot of repetition in the wares... More

This felt like the best value for money for our whole trip, with the Skyrail to Kuranda and the Scenic Railway back down. The stunning views and handy little trip guide was fantastic, and the walks at Red Peaks and Barron river (?) were fantastic. There are heaps of bush turkeys, not a lot of other wildlife, but the rainforest... More

On the way to Kuranda we travelled on the train and the kids thought it was ok. and to be honest so did the parents. The sky rail was great as you got to see a view of the rainforest from above. Everyone was interested from our kids aged 3, 4 and 7 to the parents we all loved it..... More

Wow this is a great way to see the top of the rainforest. You also get magnificent views to the coast. You can leave on a few stations to make short walks to see the surroundings for example the Barron falls. This attraction is a must do.

WOW! WOW! Did I mention WOW??? Not only a wonderful way to transport through the rainforest, but the stops along the way to hear about the history of the rainforest, the wildlife and the magnificent Barron Falls added to it. The final destination; Kuranda, is also a beautiful spot, and although dominated by touristy style shops, it still has enough... More

The day trip, up to Kuranda by Skyrail and back down by train is an absolute must for visitors to the far north. The two stops on the way up were both exceptional, with a ranger guided tour at the first stop and the magnificent Barron Gorge at the second. Kuranda is something else. The destination just added to the... More

We were on a three days visit to Cairns. We took the Skyrail to experience the Kurando village. The Skyrail experience was excellent. The guide explained us on how the rain forest preserved. This is a must see.

We went on a bleak and rainy day, as it was part of a package tour we couldn't very well change the day. However, the thrill is probably more evident when the winds sweep up from the valleys below as you are strung in the air slowly meandering accross the sails. Did I say I am afraid of heights? Well... We paid extra for the Diamond view. Need to wait a little longer for the car as they are in between the normal cars. Beautiful view to the horizon as we look back towards Cairns. The short walks at the two different stations were interesting and great to stretch our legs.
