Recently went on the skyrail to Kuranda which was amazing. It gave you an incredible view of Cairns and the stop offs in the rainforest were absolutely beautiful.

This was a serene, slow ride above the rainforest in a nice, comfortable cable car. The views were wonderful, but I had traveled to Costa Rica earlier in year where I was up close in the rainforest and I preferred that a little more then the view from the clouds.

We booked through the skyrail website directly for a return trip on the skyrail both ways. We also had transfers included and were picked up on time. The day was rainy with patches of sunshine, so in the way up the mountains were all foggy. We loved how there were umbrellas provided at the stations too. The guided walk at... More

Myself, and family thoroughly enjoyed our trip on the skyrail. The views are amazing and I still can't get over how high it is. The staff were very friendly and helpful, assisting my husband who is in a wheelchair. Wheelchair access for manual standard sized chair was good, but for those with autochairs or larger chairs, I don't think you... More

On our way back from Kuranda, we decided to take the skyrail. Gorgeous views over the rainforest canopy. It was a clear day and we could see as far as Green Island on the way back to Smithfield. Really worth spending the money.
