Took the one way ride through to Kuranda in a Diamond view gondola.......quite simply brilliant! Great views, the two stops along the way were great to view the rainforest and Barron Falls, and staff all the way through were fantastic. Great attraction, a Skyrail ride is worth every cent!

We found this enjoyable and a great experience. We had a normal car but you can pay extra and have a car with a glass bottom, that is if you like heights???? The views are spectacular and sliding across the top of the rain forest is a thing to remember.

It was unbelievable how close you are to the trees and that the whole journey was so long and enjoyable. They did a great job! If you do not share the gondola with people who talk all the time, then you have got the chance to listen to the sounds of nature. The two stops in between were nice and... More

It's a little expensive but well worth it. After being a little hesitant about the heights involved, we settled down and enjoyed the trip up the hill and the guided tours at the stop-off points. It was most enjoyable. The walk into Kuranda itself, while a little steep initially, was leisurely and interestingly interspersed with locals who tried every which... More

The scenery is spectacular, a very enjoyable day. We had visited almost 10 years ago and still enjoyed it again!! It was also very interesting to see the growth around the area in that time.

The skyrail was great. It was a clear day with perfect views. We had a "diamond pod" for on the way to Kurunda and a regular pod on the way back. I'm glad we chose the diamond pod for half the trip - would not have appreciated it as much for the return trip. With the glass floor we were... More

The scenery is just spectacular and the skyrail pods are fantastic. I we did not go on the diamond pod - but I think we saw just as much without being distracted. The walk to Kuranda Markets was only about 7 mins with slight uphill climb.

What a way to see the county side of Far North Queensland sitting in a chair lift high above the canopy of the forest with the surrounding beaches, mountains in the distance. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area.

we didn't take the diamond car but found the regular one quite fine. we had the car to ourselves and it was nice to be able to stop at a couple of places and look around. Didn't go much on Kurunda itself as it was packed out with tourists and everything was overpriced. worth the trip, even though the day... More

My family's ride on the Skyrail was awesome! They put 6 people in a pod and even though we went in school holidays when it was extremely busy it didn't take too long but do try to get there as early as possible - 9 - 9.30 am if you want to maximise your time.Spectacular views across the rainforest. Make... More
