Fantastic way to get from Cairns to Kuranda. Can be a short trip if you just stay in the gondola, but don't do this - get off at the stops along the way. Have a look through the rainforest centre and at the Barron Falls lookout. Well worth it. Combine the cable car trip with the train, we liked going... More

The Skyrail Rainforest Cableway is a must see when visiting Cairns, Nth Queensland, Australia. The gondolas were really clean, and they even have see through floors so you can view the rainforest canopy. The passengers have the option to stop at a couple of stations and go for a walk through the rainforest, and to stop and view the wonders... More

Let me start by saying that I'm afraid of heights. My plan was to close my eyes, but it wasn't that bad. The views of Cairns was amazing! The rainforest was nice, but we didn't see any birds which I thought was odd. My favorite part was the first stop. We took the ranger talk/walk and it was very informative.... More

The Skyrail takes you over the top of the Cairns rain forest in about an hour and a half. Great way to see it. We upgraded to the "Diamond" car which gave us a clear glass floor. Do this as it made a huge difference for a very small adder. There are great forest floor walks that let you get... More

A must to attend and enjoy the sky rail to view the most beautiful part of the Queensland rainforest. With reasonable prices the family can enjoy a wonderful ride through the rainforest and visit Kuranda Village then finish with the scenic railway. Beautiful !!

Really great way to spend a day! We went up at about 10am and had a guide show us around the first platform. He was very informative. The waterfalls on the second platform were still impressive despite being the dry season! I would recommend anyone to do this!

We had a great time on the skyrail and the children (aged 3, 6 and 8) thought it was amazing. Yes it is expensive but it was a highlight of our holiday and is well remembered. Definitely worth going on!

We took the Skyrail up to Kuranda and paid for the Diamoond view, it was such a good view and the surrounding scenery was amazing, stopping at the 2 stop off points and looking out over the waterfalls and valleys and then onto Kuranda, which is a little bit too tourist for our liking but is worth visiting. From there... More
