Very porrly mainted. It is a shame that places of such significance are not maintained at all. The only thing that remains in the fort seems to be a huge walls surrounding a large area that seems to be protected. No information Kiosks, no help. Very poorly maintained by ASI. Avoid wasting time here.

The Fort just like olden days design contains huge boundary walls surrounded by a moat. Boating in the moat is allowed only when there is... More

If you are visiting Vellore, you are bound to pass this fort. The fort premises have a lot to offer, including the fort itself, a small lake outside the fort, a very old Shiva temple, a museum, and much more.

one of the biggest attractions in town. Do give a visit if you drop by, skip the museum and walk on the edge of the fort. More pleasant in the evening

Nice fort to see. Need about 2 hours to se the inside of the fort. Must see the archeological museum .a walk on the fort wall all around the fort is a must. The lawns are very well maintained. A good time to visit the fort would be when it is not sunny otherwise it can get really very warm... More

We went to see the fort recently and there was not much to see. There is no information on what to do/see. We took some pictures and left.
