you need to pay 250 Rs to reduce your walk to the temple otherwise which is a long walk.. this is the only drawback which i feel should have been avoided... temple shall be equal for all... people throwing money gets direct access and more near visibility in the temple... overall once you reach the temple premise, the temple is... Clean place. You are approached for pujas and archanas as in many other temples. We took the 250 rupee seva, as it made the walk shorter and darshan a bit longer. The deity is beautiful and we meditated in front. They gave us prasadam. We were able to buy water and fruit juice near the exit. Gift shops at entrance... More

If you intend on visiting the temple, purchase seva tickets at the entrance and bring socks with you as you are required to remove your footwear before entering the temple and the path can be somewhat dirty at times. Also leave your phones and bags in your vehicle as they are not permitted in the temple. Do not attempt to... More

This place looks more like a resort. The feel of a temple is completely missing. I would suggest to visit Jalakandeshwarar temple which is near by. The worst part is once you are in, they wouldn't let you go back. Its only one way and that's from entrance to temple with nets on your sides which was very annoying. And... More

The main Golden Temple precincts is about 500 metres walk from the Entrance and takes you around the Temple with its other parts.the Main temple with a moat around is very good and well maintained.

An excellent temple complex worth seeing at least once.Has a star shaped parikrama. Go around in the parikrama at leisure. Enjoy the beauty. take many breaks. There is nothing to see other than the parikrama & main mandir. Try to see the mandir on full moon night.

It is definitely a spectacular one. But I could not stop thinking that most of the people in India stay hungry and are deprived of the basic necessities, yet this place depicts how much money we spend on religious causes. I know that there are other temples which had loads of assets but I did/will have similar complaint about them... More

This temple is well maintained, organized and laid out. Their facility is designed to handle a number of worshipers and visitors. They give you plenty of time to offer your prayers. They created a nice atmosphere.

I happened to visit this place in January. This is more like a personal publicity stunt of any other Swami in India. Glittering in gold, it has all the things needed for a much anticipated advertising stunt. No Divine Serenity. No Nirvana. This when u compare to certain small and less attractive places, where one can find Nirvana are plenty in... More
