The golden temple has been well maintained. You can feel the peace, meditate in peace. The walk would be quuite lengthy but then you get to read a lot of quotes and then you can take rests before continuing. At the end of the day you will have a peaceful sleep.

The Sripuram Golden Temple is a huge temple complex with beautiful garden and surroundings. The temple is built with gold coverings on all sides and looks very beautiful. It takes 2 to 3 hours for free darshan on week days and one should walk 2 to 3 kms. inside the complex. The temple is maintained very well.

Been here in the month of February 2016 with family. Located in sripuram, near vellore city. Well maintained, golden temple. Arrangement for wheel chair was there for my elderly mother. Seva facility is available. Good for a day trip.

The Sripuram golden temple is located a bit away from the Vellore city (not too far though). The temple complex itself is quite big and so be prepared for a long walk. If you are not into long walks (at least 2 to 3 kms up and down), then you may not want to get in. First of all, if... More

Sripuram is 15 to 20 mins from Vellore and it is must visit place if you are visiting vellore. Process for Dasharan is very similar to Thirupathi temple; I visited this temple during a weekday and it was completely free; but it tool almost 20 mins to get to Narayani Sannadhi.

We started from Bangalore to Vellore on a perfect Satudary morning. We travelled ~3 hours to reach there. Temple is basically a Laxmi ji temple who is known as goddess for wealth. Feeling you get after reaching there is good. Its quite peaceful inside. On top of that, they offer free food also. :)
