A True traveller can give it a miss as nothing is so special except the glittariti in the evening as the sun goes down.Even though well maintained with all ameneties, you will not get the divine feel or that you are in a temple. You need to shell out 250 bucks if you want a quicker darshan.

Inside the temple complex we have shopping facilities for Puja items as well as soveniers. good and clean arrangement for drinking water and toilet facilities. The temple on the outside is surrouded by street hawker... More

On a business trip to Vellore, the organizers gave us a complimentary pass to visit this temple complex. As we approached, the sky and the nearby town seemed to glow from the illuminated temple in the early hours of the evening. We parked our vehicle and were asked to leave our mobiles, handbags and cameras behind .......so no photos could... More

If you have not visited the Sripuram Golden Temple, Vellore , you should perhaps catch the immediate available train passing via Katpadi Junction and land there ,if it is not an exaggeration to say so. But the truth about the beauty of the Temple, its sprawling premises,it's star- shaped design, its spick and span environment and the perfection that is perceived... More

Thirumalai kodi which is 8 km from vellore was a small sleepy village. But in recent years the position is changed and thousands visit this tiny village. This is due to golden temple of recent origin. Shri sakti amma of narayani peedam has constructed a huge temple in this village called sripuram. The contributions are mainly from foreign devotees. The temple... More

The golden temple at Sripuram is a definitely a visit. Its a smooth 2.5 hrs drive from Bangalore. Do stop at Adayar or Krishna for a breakfast or lunch on the way. At the temple, it is a good idea to buy seva for Rs 250/- to get a faster entry and an opportunity to sit in front of the... More

A very well organized temple in Vellore. Be ready for a long walk around the golden temple on the shaded path. As electronic items are not allowed you could maintain peace when you are inside the campus. The temple is in the middle of a pool and the whole temple is covered with Gold. Beyond the glare of gold and... More

Golden temple in Vellore is a very beautifully built temple with huge green gardens beautifully landscaped. Great place to relax in peace. Best to visit during evening when there is lots of nice lighting and diyas . Must see if you are in or near Vellore.
