Though it was summer we got to see Irpu falls with water. Kids enjoyed taking bath under the falls as it was not too forceful. the place can be accessed easily and may be during rainy season, water level may increase. It was soothing and we enjoyed for about 3 hours in the water.

Irpu Falls are a series of small waterfalls on the Lakshmana Tirtha River, surrounded by high hills and semi-evergreen forest. There is a temple at the base that you can visit. Beware of weekends when it gets very crowded. Weekdays are peaceful.

Must visit if somebody is visiting Nagarhole national park. It has lots of water and planks have been laid to allow people to stand under falling water. Walk upto the waterfall is also pleasant

Our hosts from the place we stayed at had insisted us on visiting this place. Happy to visit.. Lovely place, loved the part where we had to trek up the hills to reach the falls. The waters very clean and the forest officials had managed to keep the place quite unpolluted but you just cant get rid of demons completely... More

Irpu falls are much…much better than Dubare forest location. This place is not very much crowded (as compared to other locations) even on weekends, so you can enjoy the peace and nature. There is an entry ticket (I think Rs.30/- for each person) and strict rules for use of plastic, even you are not allowed to carry water bottle (which... More

The track up to Falls is very nice. Peaceful and serenely located, worth a look. Nice and beautiful waterfall. This has a ample place under the falls, makes it pretty safe place to play in water. Even the drive to this place is great, I went from the nagarhole forest from Mysore.

This is a very beautiful waterfall. Situated in the centre of forest, and on one side of the mountains situated on Karnataka and Kerala Border. Unlike few waterfalls, this has a sufficient place under the falls, make it pretty safe place to play in water. Even the drive to this place is great. Either the nagarhole forest drive or wayanad...
