Did a tour of Phang Nga Bay the day before going to Phi Phi Island, and in comparison Phang Nga is so quiet haha. There are still a number of tourists around, and you do tend to come to activities such as canoeing at the same time. However, there is plenty of space to relax and if you had to... More

Our group of 8 travelled to Phuket by cruise. I was surprised that our cruise ship arrived off Patong Beach because Julio Cesar De Leon, Personal Cruise Specialist of Royal Caribbean Cruises (Asia) had replied by email that the cruise ship would arrive at Chaophya Terminal International Co, Tambol Aumakam, Amphoe Muang, Phuket 83000 and the Call Centre of Royal... We drove from Phuket and came across Boonchu Pier Long Tail Boat Services quite by chance. For 1500 baht each plus 300 baht for the amazing lunch we got a full day in our own long tail boat with Sofia as our guide. The river to the sea was interesting enough seeing all the oyster farms but the island rock... More

A long day but worth every penny spent, lots of souvenirs available on ko tapu and rohinga village. The other islands hongs especially are worth good photo opportunities.

Definitely a "Must-Try" tour. Canoeing is such a delight, and the tours are conducted in a more relaxed and fun atmosphere, as compared to the more popular Phi Phi island tours. I would highly recommend cruise/mini-cruise style tours as they allow you more freedom to mingle around with fellow passengers, and it is more stable. A great mix of mingling,... More
