Phang Nga bay is definitely worth a day-trip. We went with our children (aged 6 and 9). The caves, James Bond island, canoeing through the mangroves etc. was excellent. It can get crowded yes but still worth putting up with that to experience to stunning location. Do not forget your camera!

Great place to get some beautiful nature pictures, but it has become a much too touristy. So go there before it gets ruined by the crowds. Hundreds of boats per day is too much. But it's still worth it.

We hired a long tail taxi to take us to Jame Bond island and around the other islands. Was a great way of doing it as it was just us and could do it at our own pace. 1500bhat for the boat for around 3 hours.

This is an amazing place. We had great time to sail through the limestones and visited the James Bond Island. The weather was nice and the guide was very helpful.

Beautiful beautiful sceanary. You can get boats from Klong Khian Pier to the numerous islands as well as from many other places. There's not much at Klong Khian and no beach to mention. The road from the west is being rebuilt so access will be easier.

This National Park is world famous and even staying over an hours drive away from the area there are plenty of travel shops offering day trips. They mostly include guided travel by longtail-boat around the park and between the muslim floating village (including lunch), a canoe ride under cliffs and through mangroves and the touristy visit to Ko Khao Phing... We had done booking by Justgophuket.com; their rates were lowest than local tour operators in Phuket town were offering. It includes pick up and drop from the hotel. Pick up at hotel was in time. We were taken from Hotel to Ao Po Pier by mini van, along with some other guests. At Ao Po pier we had to wait... More

If you have any second thoughts about making this trip, just throw them out of the window because it really is one of the most beautiful trips you can ever make. But my favorite part about the trip was the canoeing experience so you have to make sure that you pick a tour operator that gives you enough time for... More
