A beautiful building with a nice park like setting.Worth at least a 30 minute visit,fairly easy to get too from the main town, easy destination to bicycle too.

This is near to Jincheng City, about 5 mins motor ride. it is just beside the big lake. There is about 3 stories of pictures on the history and also the culture of the place. According to our local guide, the building was built by the army to commemorate the war between Taiwan and China. There is a video show at the ground level, which introduces the attractions of Kinmen. The middle level houses exhibitions of the deities the islanders worship. Definitely worth visiting and walking to 2nd floor to see the view of Kinmen, little Kinmen and Xiamen China. The artifacts in the museum is not that impressive, we just quickly walked past to get to see the view. Like all Kinmen attractions, it's free.

Hear the narration to know how important this building was in the war against communist China!! Go up the second floor and look far to see where Xiamen is!! Very interesting!!
