Since its inside the army area, you need to park your car a certain distance before the sunset point. If you don't like walking/don't have comfortable shoes on- skip. The walk down the entire road is fun. But again, it's underwhelming. Sunset point fills up with kids, so it's noisy, not an ideal sunset setup for me. Plus there's nothing around.... More

Try to reach there on time and be there for 1 hour.(i.e. before 5 pm) and be there until the sun sets. Carry a good camera.

Excellent place to see the sunset through the pine trees. You can also see the nearest water bodies such as Dam and Sukhna Lake in Chandigarh when the visibly is clear. The food joints situated at sunset point do not provide good quality food and the prices are also on higher side.

Just lovely - if you love quiet walks and long hikes, this place is serene and very peaceful. Well maintained, as it's near the army can't area. Unspoilt with some spectacular views

Bigger brighter and clear sun set view from this point. Place away from rush and crowd is excellent to spare some time

Went in month of December, it was cold, very cold. But enjoyed nature at its best, this place is away from rush of city and traffic, felt like we are above clouds.

This place is not properly maintained. Branches of trees blocks the view. It has activities for children, like see-saw and slide. You have to walk 700-1000m from parking spot.

This is away from the main city towards the cantonment area and you will find a lot army people around. We were just in time for the sunset and it was an amazing experience, luckily it was not very crowded and we could see the Sun going home, seconds by seconds. This would be one of the best experiences for... More
