This was so much fun! We had Conor as a guide, and he was super friendly, funny and knowledgeable. I would recommend going around a full moon as the waves are more intense. We didn't find it overly cold (we went in August); they provide rain gear however you're going to get soaked either way. Highly recommended :)

This adventure is definitely not for the faint of heart, but wowsa, is this fun!!!! My friends and I came all the way to Nova Scotia from Toronto just for this activity and it did not disappoint! Our guide was Emma, and she was fantastic - so knowledgeable and calm! These guys know what they are doing for sure. They... More

I am so happy that we picked this tour. It is the only tour that starts closer to the mouth of the river where you can actually ride the bore up the river. We could see the tidal bore come in and when it got bigger we were riding on top of the wave. We did the full tour. The... More

We had a great time on our tidal bore ride! It was raining and we were totally soaked by the end of the night but it was a lot of fun. We felt safe and in good hands with our guide. The whole operation was professional and well organized. We were extremely cold by the end of the ride but... More

we had heard about the bore tide being worth a ride on a raft so we took the chance and booked in. So glad we did it was a blast. Fully kitted out and briefed by our expert guide we set out with 9 other rafts of around 8 people, first hesitation was overcome when we hit the water, 20c... More

We had a group of eight today that had a great time! It was so much fun! It was our first out and it was a blast either way but Conor made our experience that much better! We would definitely go again next year and hope to have him as a guide aswell!! Very entertaining! Thanks a lot from Laura,... More

I didn't really know what to expect, but I'm so glad I tried this! I've done both white and black-water rafting, and this was easily up there on an excitement level, with the added bonus of not having to worry about braining yourself on rocks :) We did the 2-hour tour, which we felt was a good amount of time,... We LOVED this trip!!! It was the highlight of our vacation to Nova Scotia. You will get absolutely soaked and your hand will hurt from holding on tightly. The YouTube videos don't do this experience justice. Don't miss this experience.

This place is a must stop on your vacation. We just finished the ride of our lives. We also stayed in the cottage that River runners offers. Nice, clean and relaxing. If you are coming this way be sure to match your ride time with the peak time of the tide. If I could rate it higher I would.
