Our guide was Kim and she added so much to this experience. We were lucky to be there at the time of the highest tides for the last 18 years. It was scary but so much fun. We got absolutely soaked but had a good group so lots of laughs. Kim filled the raft with water and raced over the... More

We weren't sure what to expect, but are very glad we tried this! Our guide (Chelsea) was full of enthusiasm and made sure everyone on the boat had a great time. Be prepared to get soaking wet, but the water was surprisingly warm.

Stayed overnight in one of their cottages and then went on one of their outboard powered inflatable rafts. The ride was timed so that we could ride the Tidal bore as it traveled up the river. The bore was about two feet high which was about one foot eleven inches higher than the one I saw in Alaska. After we... More

Fantastic experience for our whole family- kids aged 9-17. Keith was a fabulous guide and experienced operator with a fun sense of humour. We were well outfitted and taken care of. We hit the highest tides in 18 years, so it was quite an adventure. Even though my husband is extremely prone to motion sickness, one gravol was all he... More

What an amazing experience we had riding the tidal bore with River Runners! Our check in was easy and the staff so helpful and friendly. They made us feel at ease the minute we entered their building and ensured that we had the appropriate and safe gear. Even the owner was there to make sure we had the best adventure.... More

Wow! A highlight of our trip to Nova Scotia was to see the Tidal Bore - a ride on the tidal bore was a big plus! The guides were young and fun! She just about turned our Zodiak into a submarine! She did warn us of what we could expect and that it was perfectly safe. The water drained out... More

Too much fun! It was a 2 hour blast! We bonded with a great group in our raft and laughed hysterically at times as we battled the waves and as we slipped and slided into our raft, sometimes being entangled around one another as we bounced around over the waves turbulence. Our boat Captain, Nichol was engaging, professional, funny, and... More

Of course I'm not. Amazing. AMAZING!!! We checked in the night before to sign our wavers and pay, which meant we could arrive 15 minutes later in the morning. Once everybody arrived we suited up (you can choose a rain suit or float suit-which keeps you warm but not dry). I'm a big girl and worried they wouldn't have one... More

Three hours of total fun, with expert safety conscious guides. Experienced the arrival of a true tidal bore wave from the Bay of Fundy, crammed into a river, creating an initial moving wave crest, followed by several sets of standing waves, some 12 feet high or more. The expert guide took us through these over and over, without losing a... More

Had a really great time on the raft. Emma was the guide and a nice friendly local. The ride and rapids were fun and it was a really warm day. I would absolutely go again with this company by only suggestion for an excellent rating was the food and beverages on the full day trip hot chocolate and steak is... More
