We really did not know what to expect from this, but we are pleased to report we had a brilliant day at Phoenix Falconry. The place is very well organised, clean and they clearly really look after the birds in their care. This is a centre that rears birds in captivity, they DO NOT take birds from the wilds and... More

We 'met the birds' and loved it. The birds were superb and the guide was informative and funny. Will be back. More

We weren't allowed to see most of the birds due to it being breeding season. However this did not spoil what was a fun very interesting experience and have booked a hunting day later on in the year. I hope the Canadian guide Tom will take us again cos he was well fit!!!! More

My husband and I are avid nature fans, and I booked the Phoenix Experience (3.5hr half day experience flying and learning about the birds of prey) for my husband's Valentine gift. I booked it through a Groupon deal, but would happily have paid full price for this day. The staff were all attentive, friendly and informative, particularly Tom who was... More

I booked this through Groupon but like others that have done likewise the service provided by Phoenix was very poor and I found them to be seriously lacking any understanding of the concept of being customer friendly. It would appear that Phoenix are not happy that you have booked through Groupon at a reduced cost compared to their standard pricing... More

Tom, our guide for the day, gave us an excellent insight into the ways of the falconer. Really educational and informative but was also more fun than either of us ever expected which certainly came down to Tom's style and enthusiasm. many thanks for a great experience. More

I went on a slightly damp day and din't expect too much, but I came home with over 1000 pictures! It was a great day and the Tom and Adrien were very knowledgeable about the birds and Tom was able to position the birds for the best camera shots you could ever think of! Would thourghly recommend this day out... More

This is an amazing experience both for young and old alike. Friendly and highly knowledgable staff make this an interesting and enjoyable activity. To learn how the birds are bred and reared in captivity and also how they behave in the wild is fascinating and to be able to handle these exquisite creatures is exciting. Go and try it -... More

Picture it. The majestic heart of the Perthshire countryside and the regal birds of prey being looked after in very fine surroundings by knowledgeable and experienced handlers. These magnificent birds are brought out and you have the real thrill of them flying to you. We flew hawks, eagles and watched a stunning falconry display by these wonderful birds-the fastes killing... More
