Located in the beautiful Perthshire (just driving there is a pleasure), Tullibardine is a small-size but typical and fascinating whisky distillery. My boyfreidn and I took a tour of about 45 minutes around the distillery. Guided by Gavin - a really lovely person who described everything in a passionate and straightforward way - we discovered how the Scottish single malt... More

This is a compact site. This is helpful in one's acquisition of a proper understanding of the distillation and maturation processes. Our tour guide was ours alone. We were not in a long queue of tourists. Although this distillery - in common with most nowadays - imports green malt from commercial maltings elsewhere (i.e. with no kilns on site) it... More

We all enjoyed the tour of the distillery and learning about its history, but the highlight of the day was for my husband and son who both thoroughly enjoyed the deluxe whisky tasting experience that followed. The four whiskies were each paired with a complementary handmade specialist chocolate, each designed to accentuate the flavour of the spirit. As the nominated... More

Ian was a fantastic tour guide. Very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and explained all the processes very clearly. We have been on a few different whisky distillery tours, but this one was definitely the best. Enjoyed tasting some of the whisky, and it was good that even the driver had the chance to sample some 'pre-production whisky' (water!). Definitely worth the trip.

Jim was a great tour guide. He was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and we had a nice solo tour! The whisky was smooth, red, and full of flavor. The whisky in the burgundy barrel was great! 2 drams and a great tour for L8.00

After golf at Gleneagles, on our way to St Andrews we stopped at Tullibardine. Having no time for a tour we only had a quick tasting. Craig, on duty, ex South African, treated us like family. His ability to adapt to our interests snd warmth contributed to a memory that will kast fir some time.

I've been to quite a few distilleries around scotland now, and have even been to Tullibardine before. Recently took friends to visit - and we all loved it. Jim was an enthusiastic and very knowledgable guide - and told us things I hadn't picked up anywhere else before. Really recommend stopping. Great whisky, great chat, great fun.

As someone mentioned, this distillery is located in a retail center that used to be occupied by several businesses. Now the distillery owns the whole thing, and they are expanding storage and visitor facilities to take up the whole building. I think this is a smart move. The location of this distillery, in the middle of Scotland and very near... More
