Went there to take a German friend to have a Filipino style camping where everything is improvised. :) Water is great and amazing sunset. We set up tent far from the cottages, gathered dried woods for fire and grilling fish for dinner. At night would have been great for stargazing but it was a cloudy night. Bad bonfire til 11pm... Very quiet and serene, you can spend the whole day just sitting on the sand, listening to the waves and stare at the sea.

We love staying here even if it's 5 hours away from Cainta. We like the cream colored sand that does not heat under the sun. We love the calm and not so deep waters. We like that it is not rocky and there are corals that shield us from strong tides. Beware bring aqua socks because the corals has urchins.... More

I am forever surprised by the beaches here around the Philippines. This is not as famous as Puerto Galera nor Boracay, but I was able to appreciate the beauty of this place. It is a long stretch of pure beauty. The sand is an off-light brownish cream color, but is quite fine. We came around June, so not really the... More

Patar Beach is my second fave Pangasinan Beach. Its beach is called "White Beach" but it's not really white but cream-colored. It's a public beach, there's no admission fee but there's a charge for parking. Sometimes it's not well-kept, you may spot some trash here and there. There are a lot of huts along the shore that can be rented,... More

It was my second time to visit Patar White Beach. Last was 2009 and my last visit was last June 15. We stayed there overnight in on of the kubo. I must say that this beach is fantastic. It is a must to visit Patar White Beach when you are in Bolinao. Although due to some weather mishaps, we only... More

The place is beautiful. Green - Blue clear water, fine and creamy white sand, and awesome rock formations.. However, there are several downsides like there is no mobile network signal and lack of fresh water on the public beach.. It's better to check in on high end hotels.

Patar Beach is the white sand beach of Bolinao. It is a nice place, the water was great, the sand was excellent and the places to stay maybe limited. Worse part of this beach is the bad maintenance, they barely clean the dirt and trash left by the beach goers so don't expect to see a very clean shore.

This is a public beach, so expect a lot of people. Grainy cream sand and pristine cool waters is a refreshing treat. Waves can get a little bigger. There is a life guard stationed along the beach.
