At the Ionian island (Lefkada) is a very touristic village called Nydri. At the middle of this village is a road for a very beautiful canyon with a waterfall at the end of 350m walking distance from parking.Easy access with a very relaxing canteen at the beginning of the trail.

3km out of Nidri. I took a taxi as it was quite hot. Well run taverna near the falls. They called me a taxi for my return. Well worth the trip. Its about 45 minute walk from the town centre.

My 4 star rating refers to the whole experience. It was a very hot summer day and this trip was the perfect thing to do. The hike is pleasant, going through a wood and along a river valley. So we enjoyed the walk so much, that we weren't even disappointed when the much praised waterfall was little more than a... More

We visited the waterfalls just outside Nidri. We hired bikes and cycled there from the main town, it took about 10/15 minutes at a very leisurely pace (if you were walking it would take about 30 minutes). We parked our bikes at the bottom of the footpath and walked up. It is steep and a little slippery so make sure... More

If you want to get out of the sun for a while to cool off Nydri waterfalls are well worth a visit. It's quite a trek to get to the waterfalls, make sure you have suitable footwear on as it involves a bit of scrambling over rocks and steep steps. If you're brave enough have a swim the water, refreshingly... More

We enjoyed a pleasant walk from our hotel in Nidri to the waterfall, it took us around an hour, it was a nice waterfall and we took some lovely photo's here. There was a taverna near the top of the waterfall, however we didn't stop here. I would recommend going fairly early as it started to get busier when we... More

The walk to the falls is mostly flat. There's a taverna at about half way, and another when you reach the falls. Ok it's not Niagara, but it's a nice way to spend a morning.

Beautiful peaceful location well worth the walk! Stunning scenery and lovely refreshing dip in crystal clear water.. The bar was worth a stop on way back for fresh orange juice!
