We love Leigh-on-Sea it is so quaint and full of charm, for sea food lovers it is a must - for a very small place it is always very busy, it is a popular place to go for a walk through the High Street along the front, to enjoy the old buildings and scenery and of course the lovely fresh... More

Park before you get into old leigh itself as does tend to get very busy there... More

I enjoy visiting Old Leigh. It isn't the most picturesque with the trainline, but somehow the charm of the cobbled streets and proper pubs makes that blend into the background. It has a great atmosphere and charm. If you are in the area then worth a visit.

As a leigh resident we always look forward to the summer and frequent visits to our own lovely old town. Its always changing but still retains its quaint atmosphere. Seafood, pubs, beach, what else could you want when the sun shines?

I live in leigh but I never tire of coming down to the old town especially on a day like today with the sun out and all the pubs busy. Excellent seafood stalls.
