Spiritual. Not Commercial. Friendly. Divine. Went for the first time and was struck by the beauty of the diety. Felt blessed and happy that took my parents along for the darshan

One of the main religious attractions, for Hindus, in the state of Kerala. A couple of factors to keep in mind - 1. Entry is only for Hindus 2. The Temple opens at 3 a.m. It would be advisable to stay in the queue by 2 a.m. 3. Men would have to remove Shirts and are allowed to wear only... More

This is a famous temple in Kerala in Thrissur district. The deity here is Sree Krishna. When we are at the temple, there is a feeling that we are so close to god. A must visit temple in Kerala.

The most famous Krishna Temple in south India. If you are in Kerala, you have to visit this. Entry is strictly for Hindus. The best time to visit is 3 AM, when the crowd is least & you get ample time to spend in the temple. Otherwise try 8PM before the temple closes, you can spend more time in there.... More

You got be there to feel it. Its beautiful but it can be crowded at times. The temple guards does a great job in allowing free flow of pilgrims which is a rarity in other parts of India. Clean & well maintained. Although spotted some VIP's making an easy entry...didnt know that they get special blessings.

You go for the dharshan of Lord Guruvayoorappan, and you get just that. Everyone around (the fellow pilgrims, policemen, security, footwear stand runners, sidewalk stall operators) help their bit for you to get the blessings of Lord Muralidhara. Whatever the queue, the Devaswom organizes it so well that none is left unfulfilled their main goal they come for (to remain... More
