I found this is the best Sri Krishnan Temple in India.. The maintenance is very very good and all the information that was provided by local people was very much satisfactory.. The accommodation provided by Temple board was good and low in cost.. We stayed around a day here and had the darshan of Guruvayourappan..

Everything was very good. The Sriveli the previous night was very good. Were able to see about 5 elephants for the pooja conducted at the temple.

The temple leaves you with a good feeling. The huge crowd. Favouritism to some people who can jump queues.

This is the temple of Hindu god " Krishna ". Over the years this temple has really become very busy and crowded. People from all parts of the world come to Guruvayur temple for offering prayers. It is considered to be very holy to get ones wedding solemnised in this temple.

The temple, always crowded is open only to Hindus. There's free food in the afternoon, free cultural shows and a bunch of dedicated policemen and temple workers, who conduct the crowd in a very orderly manner
