We had visited on our daughter's birthday during mid December 2014. I love to visit this temple for a long time but my wish got fulfilled only now. The temple & lord are very vibrant and on her birthday we feel the blessing of the lord Krishna.

We visite the temple with family on 30th April 2015. It's high time the temple consider the strict rules regarding removal of shirts and wearing dhothi to enter into the temple. Guruvayur is become a tourist place and people around the globe are visiting the temple. My son in law was asking a valid question. ... that he came to... More

The temple has a very rich history, and lot of culture attached to it. Please make sure you either go on weekdays if you can - to void the massive crowd on weekends. The sultry north Kerala weather doesn't make standing in the queues any easier. Also, there are quite a few hotels and guest houses - right outside the... More

I have had in this place many times and i feel very comfortable here. If you approach with prejudice you cannot feel it because other than the temple premises no where is clean and you may wonder while seeing non veg restaurant and other things. You should not expect any extra attention from the temple staff because most of them... More

We had heard so much about this temple and were very keen to visit it. I had been here decades ago and had very pleasant memories of this temple. When we reached we had to deal with large crowds who had queued up between a steel railing where every opening was chained. People were hurdled together and not in any... More
