The pious feeling that you get once you enter the temple is awesome. The darshan of Load Krishan makes you feel so content. The 2.30 am Vakacharthu is a experience to be felt.

Appreciate temple holding its rituals and procedures. One of the few temples strictly following the dress code and non Hindus strictly not allowed. Photography strictly banned inside temple. Pros:... Just stand in front of Lord is itself a great achievement with his smiling face. Mesmerised. There is total inefficiency on regulating the line. Openly in front of the security, concerned devasom employees take their own people in between thus depriving others who are standing in queue. This practice needs to be stopped. Otherwise start a practice like Tirupati where... More

Make sure you know someone on the inside (temple staff) to get you a quick Dharsan.Temple was heavily crowded and luckily we knew someone on the inside to cut short of the queue. We felt a little bad once we came out and saw the queue but we had a 2 yr old, so couldn't afford to spend that much... More

Fabulous darshinam of Lord Krishna on my first visit to the temple.I would also like to thank Kanoos for their accommodation for our stay. The place is really amazing with really nice amenities, ambiance and food. The place is also close to the Guruvaayoor temple which is helpful as well.

Very close to Thrissur town in Kerala. The place can be significantly crowded on weekends and specific days of religious importance. It will be a good idea to stay overnight and spend some time in an around the temple. There is a Siva temple close by, in a place called Mamiyur. It is said that the visit to Guruvayur is... More

This temple is about 30 kms from Thrissur. There are limited trains from Thrissur to Guruvayoor so it will be easy if one takes private bus from Thrissur to Guruvayor.Buses from thrissur to guruvayor are frequent from Sakthan thampooran private bus stand in Thrissur, which is near to the thrissur train station. Non-Hindus are not allowed inside the temple.gents must wear... More

Guruvayur temple is one the most famous Sri Krishna temples. The temple premises are clean and very well managed. There is no unnecessary rush and the temple management has taken enough precautions for the sfaety of the devotees.
