My friend recommended this to me, I probably wouldn't have found it otherwise! All booking was done via email which was a little scary but totally not an issue! We happened to be the only people staying there for the three nights - this was a bonus as the staff were fully attentive and seemed to appreciate us being there.... More

Simple, clean rooms. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to assist us in our pursuit of wildlife. If you have an interest in birds, you will be in good company here. Larger wildlife present during our two nights at KJC included bearded pig, malay civet, Borneon gibbon and many monitor lizards.

We had a great time here. This was definitely a jungle camp. Everything was very basic, and no hot water. But the weather was very warm, so that wasn't really a big issue. The food was very good. We saw the 5 different types of hornbills, the Borneo orangutans, proboscis monkeys, pygmy elephants and crocodiles. As well as beautiful kingfishers... More

We went here on a 2 night / 3 day all inclusive package for MYR400 each. We paid an extra MYR40 to include a trip to the local bat caves. We were in a 6-person / 3-bunkbed dorm - but there were only 2 of us in there. The place was opened in May 2015 and is clean and new.... More

We really enjoyed our time at KJC. We booked a 3D2N package and enjoyed every second of it. Our guide Ramzi was great and knew a lot about birds, which I came for. But we also saw the elephants, proboscis monkeys, different macaques, and even a gibbon. Unfortunately the wild urang utang didn't show up, we heard it though. The... More

We stayed three days, two nights and our excellent guide Ramsi (hope I've spelled correctly) showed us many good birds. We also saw lots of other wildlife - great looks at a large mail orangutan, lots of lo tailed and pig tailed macaques, proboscis and great leafed monkeys, monitor lizards and crocodiles, a large yellow banded cat snake, three kinds...
