The park is neat and with excellent view of mountains. There are lots of swings and slides for kids to enjoy. Many birds were found around and it was lovely to pick a spot and lie down for hours together.

Khirsu is a small of paradise in Pauri garhwal. As we all know Garhwal is Devbhumi where every tourist destination is somehow related to any God / holy place with some divine story linked to it. But I guess Khirsu is a real exception …………. Didn’t find any heavenly connection but it offer incredible view of mighty Himalayan peaks. Khirsu... More

We planned a trip in June 2014 as one of our friend was local from Pauri and guess what... this trip was most awesome one. Khirsu is basically Jungle area with scenic beauty...pin drop silence after 5 pm till morning. we stayed at Hotel Tajhimalaya, who has best view from room. Dont expect luxury though rooms are clean, hot water,... More

Most of the tourist visit the place because of the visibility of Himalayan range from Khirsu & for the greeneries around . Its a small village; situated near to the mother town of Pauri Garwhal ; Pauri (18 km). Few tents & a tourist bungalow is available for public. You might need to book it in prior to stay &... More

In a suddenly planned trip from Meerut by road (Hatchback car) to Pauri Garhwal between 9th-12th Feb 2013, Khirsu (in the neighborhood) was termed as one of the top attractions in words of the locals. I was with my wife and kid (3 years) and was hoping for an amazing , thrilling experience. On the contrary, the visit to Pauri... More

Khirsu, located about 20 kilometers from the district town of Pauri, is a quiet village with one GMVN Tourist Lodge having accommodation for around 25. The basic room/ hut facilities are available with restrictive supply of water and electrical power. An alternative place to stay is the forest bungalow. The food is of acceptable quality to the tourists. the view... More

Khirsu is sleepy serene. full of forested walks, and colourful birds. Chaukhamba and Kedarnath peaks are tantalizingly close. With great local people, and hospitable GMVN staffs its a must visit place in Gahrwal. Just relax there for 2-3 days.

Khirsu would basically mean the GMVN tourist rest house. The silence and the openness of the property is very soothing. Be warned that the cottages do not have any fans, and the afternoon in May was uncomfortable. With flies swarming, the door could not be kept open, and the sun was strong. There is also water shortage, but one has... More
