We visited Rochester Falls and both trips were unplanned! We stumbled across signs on out first trip which led us through Cane fields on a mud track which in places was almost impassable! The view from the top of the falls is quite good and the nutty fruit vendor leapt off the top of the falls to show us how... More

Be careful not to miss the road signs, the trip is worth it. Try to keep away from the extremely friendly locals:)

Along an unsuspecting road through the cane fields you as it were drift down to this hidden treasure of cool and peace amid the hot sun a place of shade... Its hardly noticeable until you actually arrive a the place., but it is a welcomed retreat...

The setting, through sugar cane fields, is hidden by trees, and whilst a lot of people approach the falls from the bottom, we drove to the 'carpark' at the top. A more interesting view, but be prepared to be assailed by a fruit vendor who has a stall there, and who will feed you with all sorts of fruit plus... More

Definitely a mixed experience and I'm not sure how I feel. The road which leads to the bottom of the falls goes through a private road in a sugar cane field. Calling it a road is pushing it. We had a rental car so it was a scary experience - I was sure I'd get a puncture on the rocky... More

The only bad thing about this place is getting there! Not very well sign posted and driving through the sugar cane fields was a little tricky but can be done! (Don't feel you have to leave your car miles away, you can park right next to the falls!) i thought it was well worth the hassle of getting there to... More

Visited this place several times and watched the locals jumping into the pool below the falls, about 16 metres or so. On our last visit a youth jumped from a tree from a height of about 25 metres - an awesome leap! I've not plucked up the courage to do the jump but it's worth a look.

leave your car on the hillside and walk down in the sugar cane fields. At a junction you will get the magical encounter. columns of water rushing down and people diving from the top. A real sensation. The rocks have been polished with time and seemed man made.
