It took us over 90 minutes to get there from Naha - and quite frankly - it wasn't worth it. The hotel that runs the beach has it sectioned off so swimmers are stuck to one section while the activity business runs 10 minute jet ski tows, paddle boarding, etc. there's a whole other stretch of the beach on the... This beach is very clean! The swim area is roped off and there are lifeguards on duty. There is a snack bar onsite, as well as clean bathrooms. Wear your water shoes as there is some coral in the water. Umbrellas and chairs cost yen, but we took our own and sat in the back behind the paid chairs.

We went there in the evening. It's a great place to relax and to watch the sunset. It was quiet and relaxing. The water was very clear... We didn't swim tho. We only walked along the beach.

There are much better beaches in Okinawa. Don't waste gas and time for trying this one. There was construction on the shore and beach itself is tiny anyway.

This beach is tiny and crowded, and it's not particularly pretty. There's not much around except for a large hotel. Wouldn't visit again.

The sand was stoney - especially where the water meets the sand. So stoney that there was a pickup truck parked up on the beach with workers picking up the stones and chucking them into the back. We spent about 30 minutes at the beach before deciding to pack it in and go elsewhere.

Perfect location, it's a short 3 mins drive from Zanpa Cape. The good thing of this beach is that it has a nice area for snacks and ice-cream and the beach itself has lots of equipments and water sports for rental (ie/ banana boat, water-skiing, kayak etc.) However, due to the length of stay I didn't try any of those... Great beach and you can rent out kayaks but bring yen. There's also a little restaurant, again bring yen. No snorkeling around the area but it's so nice who needs to snorkel in that area anyway. Music plays, albeit strange music sometimes, but at least if you forget your ipod there's music to listen to while you hang out at... More

This beach is beautiful and relaxing. There is plenty of room to bring a large group.
