Crystal clear waters.

Maeda Point is a great place to hang out, snorkel, and just relax under the sun. It is definitely one of the places you must visit if you come to Okinawa!

Absolutely amazing! Don't be scared off by a "tourist attraction" status of this place. Yes, there are plenty of people around and car parking might get full in-season, but there is enough of space for everyone to swim around and explore. If you feel it crowded, just swim into a little bay on the left or further down and you'll... More

We spent 3 days exploring the stunning reef and coral here with our 8 year old. It is up there with the barrier reef.

Amazing snorkelling experience! Beautiful, clear waters, lots of fish. Saw octopus, poisonous sea snake, lionfish, cuttlefish, etc! Only problem is that a lot of people are stepping on coral. :(

Absolutely loved this spot. I've been to many spots all over the world and this is definitely top 5. Only downside is there are usually a lot of people.

Very nice snorkeling spot, the only thing that might be hard for some is the stairs. Lots of people enjoy diving here. There are plenty of fish to see while snorkeling. So save your money and just try snokeling. There is a bunch of dive shops on Okinawa they bring all level of divers here. I was told there is... More

it is a great place to visit, the ocean view is incomparable. but without a car, getting there would be a labor of love. The public transport, though is efficient, is very slow, and the walking from the bus stop to the cliff is grilling under the hot sun.

I absolutely love snorkeling at this spot. I have been snorkeling here since 2002 and its just a wonderful spot to visit whether you are getting in the water or not. If you get in to snorkel you will find that its like being in a giant aquarium. There are so many different types of tropical fish, coral, and you... More

Excellent snorkeling here: clear waters, beautiful fish of many colors and sizes, not much of a current. Probably the most crowded snorkeling and diving spot I've visited hitherto. Plenty of US soldiers, Chinese, Korean and Japanese tourists. Safety in numbers. Four not five stars because most of the coral I saw was dead. Quite disappointing. Ishigaki's Yonehara beach, the last... More
