This is definitely one of the best natural sceneries in okinawa and it's worth visiting to have a nice view of the sea while experiencing how the force of nature made this corrosion effect on our earth!

Wonderful place to see the stones and the amazing blue water, so beautiful as thailand beaches! The north coast of okinawa worth at least an one day stay!

For those not driving and travel on Sat, Sun or Japan public holiday, I would suggest to buy the bus day pass to travel from Naha (South) to Nago (North) at only 2,000 yen from Naha bus terminal. Via bus no. 20/120, it stops American Village, Ryukyu Mura, Cape Manza, then you can take a transit at Nago bus terminal,... More

We joined a day tour to north Okinawa for Churaumi Aquarium and this was an enroute stop. Great for a ocean view and elephant trunk cliff photo or two, but unlikely to rival The Cliffs of Moher or Great Ocean Route anytime soon. Many tourists ignored the railings to venture nearer to the cliff edge for photos. Patience is needed... More

Very nice sea view, accessible with lots of parking space. However don't expect to buy souvenirs there.

It's the signature coastal formation of Okinawa and many people flock here during different time of the day. The "elephant trunk" rock looks best in the morning, but you get a good view of ANA Intercontinental Manza hotel in the afternoon. Note that you have to wait patiently to get a parking space, especially in late afternoon.

Best to watch the sunset here. A place to breathe some fresh Ocean air. You can take a nice picture of the famous cliff that resembles a trunk of an elephant. There are some souvenir shops in the parking area.

This place has great views, isn't too crowded and is free. I highly recommend it for a short visit if you're in the area. You can see it all in less than an hour.

Traveling North on 58 towards Nago, you will find Cape Manza with an awesome beach, catering to tourists and locals alike. If you enjoy walking on the sandy beaches or working on your tan this is the place for you. if you prefer to collect sea shells, this is also the place to go. Many fine restaurants and Family Marts/Lawson... More
