Awesome Aquarium!

This aquarium was amazing. It was the first time I had aver seen whale sharks, so I was really excited about that. The entry fee is very reasonable too (about $16). There is a restaurant at the bottom of the giant aquarium that holds the whale sharks & manta rays, but it was too busy when I was there. Make... More

A nice, interesting place. We went in Aug, First we went to see the dolphine show. Those dolphines were so intelligent, every sign or voice signal from the trainer, the dolphine will do the performance. It was so interesting. Not only the kids likes the show, even the adults love it. should go for this show. The aquarium is so... More

I've been recently visiting aquariums all around Japan, and this is my favorite. Huge, beautiful tanks and content marine life.

We went by public bus so it took us very long to go and to come back but it was worth it. I won't repeat what has been told in the previous comments about the aquarium, it is indeed very impressive. My advise if you still have to lunch when you get there, don't stop in the first restaurant, start... More

It is not a very big aquarium, but their whale shark and the shark tank is impressive. If you arrive in the afternoon, do plan to walk around the park first and no need to buy the main aquarium entrance ticket early. The entrance fee is reduced if you enter after 4pm (although you can get some refund if you... More

Been coming to this aquarium for past 20 years and it never gets old. Just the right size to spend half or full day. Has an enormous wall tank that has 3 whale sharks and tons of fish in it. It is amazing to see. Has other exhibits to include a dolphin show and sea turtle tank. The park that... More

This aquarium is the biggest and the best aquarium I've ever been to. After coming here, all the other aquariums just do not compare. My husband and I came here in 2012 and were just blown away at how beautifully done everything was. The whale sharks are massive in the ginormous tanks! The tanks literally go from the floor to... The saving grace of this aquarium is the huge tank holding three whale sharks. It was really pretty to see them swimming with the dolphins and manta rays. The other exhibits were sad. The animals looked so unhappy and caged. It was heart-breaking to see beautiful manatees in a tiny concrete aquarium. The only advantage to making the drive up... More

The best aquarium as long as I've been. In the point of cost performance, the entrance fee is almost same as other major aquarium in Japan, but the scale and number of creatures are totally diff. from others. especially the "Sea of Kuroshio" is the best place for me. The best position to enjoy the view is the cafe next... More
