Such a great experience going to this aquarium! We ventured in looking at displays and loving the displays we were seeing. Then, near the end, we walked into a room that has the largest displays I have EVER seen that had everything from fish to dolphins, sting-rays, sharks, and whales! It is SO worth going, so please do yourself a... More

With my wife and little daughter, the facilities are quite friendly to the children and their mamas. The dolphin show is quite interesting. I spent 2 days to enjoy the ocean park.

I was amazed at how cheap it was for everything they have. I say for over an hour in the big room just enjoying the show and soaking in the peace. It is a bit crowded on the weekends but totally do able. There are dolphin shows included and many things to see and do. Great for kids and adults!

The best aquarium I've visited. Everybody loves watching sharks and there are plenty of them to see. They even have three whale sharks. Be sure to be there for the feeding! The site is well organized and well maintained. Plenty of free parking makes it even easier to go and relax.

Somehow when planning our visit we didn't realise there was a cafe right next to the main aquarium. We were so excited to see the tables there when we arrived. Having lunch right at the glass of the aquarium with the whale sharks and manta rays was such a great experience. I couldn't believe the photos on the website, they... More

A great aquarium where you can watch giant whale sharks and huge sting rays. I recommend sitting in the cafe, right next to the tank, and watching them for a while. There's also manatees, killer whales, dolphins, and large turtles outside the aquarium (for free).

We stayed in a huge apartment in Okinawa through AirBnb. Hired a really cheap car from Budget at the Airport (with GPS, which they set up). Drove to the Aquarium without any problems and really enjoyed it. Very well set up, helpful staff, food and drinks available. An enjoyable visit!

This place is loved by tourists and locals. It is huge with the main aquarium and smaller exhibits within close walking distance. The most amazing thing was feeding time at the main aquarium with the 2 huge whale sharks. Have food and drink at the affordable cafe right next to it. Wait for a table right by the tank and... The world's biggest aquarium where 3 giangantic whale shark swim over us in very close distance, really blow us away. Dolphin show not really outstanding but overall atmosphere was hot and pleasant. It really amazing that not excessive commercial activities inside the aquarium, and release much time and efforts for visitors hanging around.

If there is one thing the Japanese do right (and there are many) it's parks. They spare no expense and make them so user friendly and enjoyable. Just another avenue they take pride in. The Churaumi Aquarium will delight old and young. It's a top rate aquarium with an amazing three level tank that exhibits not only a vast array... More
