The Okinawa Aquarium is one stop you MUST make! It is pearched right aloing the ocean! Beautiful, clean landscape. The aqaurium is proudly presents a Giant Whales shark, assorted fish, eels, giant lobsters. There are several snack shops and gift shops, throughout. We ate lunch at the restaurant in the center of the aquarium, where you are right long the... More

Been to many aquariums each and everyone has quite similar theme. However Okinawa aquarium has a special touch with great location over looking the sea. It's just feel so relax and enjoyable after doing the indoor aquarium tour ! Also the dolphins performance add a little special smile to your face! Great place and a must for visit when I'm... More

It is one of the great attractions in Okinawa. Not a large aquarium like in any other big cities, but it is a nice and specialized in whale sharks. It is a bit far from the Naha Airport, about 1.5 hours drive.

If you are in Okinawa for any reason the this aquarium is definitely worth putting on your list of places to visit. I have been here twice now and it never gets boring. Everything from the dolphin show to the whale sharks make this place a landmark. They also have a restaurant next to the whale shark aquarium so you... More

A beautiful aquarium set up like a combo of aquarium and amusement park. There is a touch tank, a casual fast food style restaurant with views into the shark tank, and the largest fish tank in the world. The kids had a blast. We visited the aquatic park in the same day and saw the dolphin show which was pretty... More

The aquarium is great if you have never visited something similar before and would like to see whale sharks. If you have seen something similar, keep in mind the distance and effort it takes to get there from Naha. We visited the aquarium in Osaka a number of years ago, which is smaller, but also has whale sharks and is... More

I come here for the whale shark viewing, and boy, it's absolutely impressive! With the largest fish tank in the world call Kuroshio Sea, we got to see all the largest and most unique creatures including whales, sharks and manta rays. There are also over 80 species of coral in the tank! Extraordinary and amazing are my only words to... More

Comprehensive and well displayed and documented windows of marine life. Clear explanations. Shark feeding was orderly. You are able to take photos with the shark and sting ray.

We lived on Okinawa for 8 years and loved the park and aquarium. The whale sharks are impressive. If it's raining, they have umbrellas to borrow at every pavilion in the surrounding park
