Cool Gondola!

We enjoyed riding the gondola when the weather turned more wet than snowy. Great beginner and intermediate runs for the kids and I.

Nice mix of slopes in all kinds of levels. Great facilities for renting skis, restaurants and so on. Too bad slopes in Hakuba are not/ cannot be linked together. Would have a great spot!

Similar to Happo One, with the lifts being of the older variety, but again, very few lift lines, with the runs being quite good. If the three main ski areas were to upgrade all their lifts, and add a couple more to link the three together, this would be one awesome ski resort.

Loved the terrain, the park, the trees but some of the lifts were really low getting off!! I like 47 as in its so big and you can go down goryu side or 47 - theres the big park with dedicated lifts and then theres a smaller beginner park bit that's set amongst trees and then another park area over... We skied here while the kids took a lesson. Great mix of beginner and intermediate slopes to cater for kids aged 6-11 with wide range of abilities. It was a perfect first day resort, and also subsequent days. We look forward to our next trip already.

Good for intermediates and those building up their confidence. Just a bit too busy down low. A good option when the cloud level is low for better visibility.

Another fantastic ski resort, love the gondola ride to top of mountain. Staff were helpful and always smiling . The runs were perfect and a great variety of difficulty made it more enjoyable. Once again amazing views could be seen from all parts of the resort.

We rated this place as one of our favourite resorts to board at! the tree runs here were unreal and uncrowded.lift lines were never really an issue and the spicy chicken from down at the base pub was a great lunch energy boost! cant wait to be back here next year! Love JAPAN!!

47 is a great mountain to ski on, it has a long run that takes you to Goryu and back for the same lift ticket, you basically get three mountain resorts for one
