Fav mountain in the area

Huge mountain, lots to go at at all levels, if bad on one side seemed to be good on the other, never busy, some great places to eat lunch too, great lift staff, so friendly

This is the second largest of the Hakuba ski resorts. A good intermediate could ski all the pistes in one day. We noticed that unlike Happo most of the long lifts here are fast, making it much quicker to clock up the vertical. We purchased our lift tickets using a voucher from our hotel which for an extra cost of... More

If skiing with kids and beginners head to Iimori which is in between Hakuba 47 and Goryu, from there there are heaps of excellent and long green runs and the more advanced can easily get up and across to all the Black runs and Hakuba 47 areas as the three resorts are linked. Excellent cafeteria and child care is also... More

A great alternate tie to Happo and an easy reach on the shuttle service. Verticals don't match Happo but some challenging Reds and blacks. Great terrain oark Become a member and ski the trees

Great resort, great challenging runs and well linked together. Good food venues plenty of options Japanese and Western. We have spend entry of days here (skiers and boarders) we are a family of five. Happo-one and Hakuba47 are the best of the Hakuba resorts

We stayed at Happo-one and visited Hakuba 47 for a day. It has less runs than Happo-one so we are glad we did it that way, as you would see most of the mountain in one day. If you are into trick snow boarding/ skiing however there is a really cool snow park with a bowl and jumps and stuff,... More

Hakuba 47 offers some good runs for beginner and intermediate skiers. It is a small area with good access from a gondola. It is attached to the Hakuba Goryu ski area which is slightly better. If you are wanting to get ski lessons do this in the Goryu area as you spend too much time going up lifts in Hakuba... More

Had the most amazing powder day today. The sign had 10 cm of fresh snow. They needed to change that to 40cm at least. Just need to know where to look for the extra stashes ;)

Great place! Nice view! If you,re looking for a beginner area, there's plenty of them in this place. The Intermediate and pro route can be quite challenging!

Beginners friendly slopes and chair lifts. Also one of the cheaper resorts to get coaching for first time skiing or snowboarding. It was an overall pleasant-to-great experience for my first time snowboarding.
