We stayed at Inverhuron July Long Weekend 2014. This was a small park with deep private sites that were well spaced. We couldn't see our neighbors from our site. Park Wardens were actively patrolling the grounds at night and were very quick to silence the folk that were too loud. The Comfort Stations were kept very clean. If I had... More

For first time campers we thought we'd try Inverhuron Park since we live close by. We loved it. Very private sites, good washroom facilities and the beach is great. We kayaked in the lake and biked the trails. Will definitely return.

Been to Inverhuron 2 summers in a row now. We have a 35ft travel trailer which we easily managed to get into one of the large pull-through sites in the Lime Kiln campground. Not much around the park to do unless you head into Kincardine. The park has lots of room for biking. Although a great park, I was disapointed... More

Another lovely, small park on gorgeous Lake Huron. We camped here on an August weekend in 2013 and really enjoyed how quiet the park felt because of its small size. There is only one hiking trail in the park so we won’t be coming here very often in the spring, but our plan was to spend most of our time... More

it is so good the this once great park was opened again a few years ago. One of our children's favorite places to camp 40 years ago before it was closed because of a Heavy Water Plant. Sites are reasonable size, with many drive through sites. The park has a wonderful boardwalk through the bush and along the waterfront making... More

It was my first time camping so I am no expert on camp sites (sizes etc) but the park itself was lovely. Great beach, lovely views, quiet campers, clean bathrooms. My only complaint? They charged me around $35 to park my vehicle (2nd car) at the campsite for 3 days. $10+ dollars extra per day seems excessive for parking an... More

Have visited this park many times over the years. Camped there on a couple of occasions in my university days before overnight campling was not permitted with the building of the heavy water plant nearby. The park is nice to hike through and the beach is clean with some protection as it is an inlet as opposed to being open... More

We went to Inverhuron Provincial Park while taking part in the Explore the Bruce event. It was an extremely hot day, but there is a lot of shade there. The beach is very sandy and the water was warm. There hadn't been much wind lately, so there was some algae to dodge in the water, but once you got out... More

I can’t imagine staying a week at this site, but it’s great for a weekend getaway. On site is uncrowded beach (half of which is dog friendly), an interesting rock formation leading to the lake and a great trail system that follows along the outer limits of the park. It’s a very relaxing, quiet getaway that appears to be clear... More
