We showed up with no reservation ( which I would not recommend doing) but fortunately there was a couple just ready to head out on a ride. Owners gladly saddled up 4 horses for us and we were good to go. So lucky! Scenery is beautiful, horses are excellent, Sean was fabulous. Getting to gallop on the beach was exhilarating!... More

The charm began the moment we drove up to the small quaint stables and got outfitted for our family of six. We rode some of the famous Connemara ponies, which were lovely but took some getting used to riding English style (ask for tips beforehand). A favorite Ireland memory for us as we look back riding and trotting along the... More

Fantastic location and we were taken on a stunning route around the beaches and the surrounding area. The customer service could have been a bit better though and a bit more information from the staff about where we were going etc. would have been great.

It was really good: sweet horses and beautiful surroundings: the beach is really close! I went here with my boyfriend (with no experience) and me (experienced). We did the 1 hr trip. I was a bit afraid it would be a bit boring, but despite we were the only 2 customers they took us in 2 groups (but on the... More

As a life-long equestrian, I can tell you these ponies are saints. Their people know what they are doing and keep the ponies well mannered. Look past the sort of smallish quaint facility because this is safe. I went riding with my mother - a non-rider - and my 8 year old daughter and advanced beginner rider. Everyone was suitably... Simply amazing and beyond expectations. Scenery cannot be captured in pictures. Well behaved, WELL CARED FOR ponies. We got a full 2 hours on our ride. They catered the ride to our abilities and split us into 2 groups, the moms (not much experience) and the younger girls (all experienced riders). We all stayed virtually together, but the girls got... More

We are two novice riders who took the 2 hour beach trek with another group of three. The guide and his daughter were very friendly, helpful, and fun to chat with during the ride. They were more than willing to take as many pictures for us as we wanted. The ride that day took us from the stable out over... More

My husband and I are experienced equestrians in the states who own our own facility, etc. We were looking for a full featured trekking experience that would not "baby sit us" and allow us some good beach side gallops. This experience was perfect! We were taken out by an older gentleman who quickly concluded that we were competent. We enjoyed... More

We heard about this from a friend and made the 1 1/2 drive from Galway. We had emailed them before arriving in Ireland but they were on holiday and we never heard back. However we arrived and though a ride was already out and the next one wasn't scheduled for a couple of hours, Sean was very pleasant and volunteered... More
