Until a year ago it was known as ‘Parc Paradisio'. This extraordinary place is Wallonia’s second most popular tourist attraction. There are exotic animals, from monkeys and otters to giant tortoises and elephants. There’s a phenomenal array of birdlife, including the largest aviary in Europe with 300 species. « less

One of the best Zoo we've visited! Great for families with kids especially with their live shows. Highly recommend!

Honest opinion here... I can't believe a zoo like this exists in tiny Brugelette. A must visit if you find yourself in Southern Belgium in the vicinity of Mons. The effort the management/ownership put into the overall decor in Pairi Daiza that truly makes a visit to this zoo one of a kind. It's like you literally step into other... More

This is the best zoo we have ever visited but it is so much more than a zoo. Set on the grounds of an old monastery, this is a zoo, aquarium, botanical garden and cultural showplace and so much more. The grounds are perfectly manicured and you can get up close with so many of the animals. We love the... More

We were taken to Pairi Daiza by our daughter and her husband during our recent stay with them in Brussels, they had discovered the attraction some weeks previously and this was their 4th visit. We had heard much about it from them and it lived fully up to expectations. Journey time from central Brussels was about 45 mins, arriving just... More

the place is named after the garden in paradise and completely fits the bill ... it is quite a drive from proper brussels and we reached here around 11 am ... the car park was already chockobloc and i was concerned about the crowds and how we would manage herein ... but manage we did and it was filled with... Great place to spend the day. Tips: - bring your food or eat at one of the restaurants. 3 barbecue places (no open fire ... Bring your food ready for use) - be ready to get into the sand with the kids - if you do not have motion sickness, try the suspended bridges - take your time

Just spent a wonderful day here at Pairi Daiza. Yes it is expensive but worth it. We bought our tickets on line which meant that not only did we save money but skipped the long queues at the entrance. We took a picnic and spent no money while we were in the park. Luckily we saw one of the pandas... More

After getting season passes for Pairi Daiza two summers in a row, I can say it is not only a zoo, but a pretty place filled with walking trails, play grounds, food, and culture. All ages enjoy the park, and it is especially fun for kids to play on the play set, bridges, ropes, and zip line. Because the park... More

This park is amazing. It's huge and there are a lot of people but we don't feel oppressed. You can see a lot of different species. Sure they don't have as many spaces as in nature but they have relatively enough. It's very pleasant to work in the garden and to discover the different continents.A failing is the map: I... More
