It is a tourist attraction. Nothing great about it expect that it is a palace. It was not well maintained. The staff however is very courteous. We were four girls and when we had visited a large group of college boys had visited. The staff was protective and accompanied us for our safety. Such gestures leaves a good impression.

Though the palace is not so large, but is good to see. The access is restricted to only few areas of the palace. Visit the terrace and take look to sea and surroundings.

Its highly priced for what's maintained and we could complete the whole tour of this palace in half an hour. It's a simple palace depicting the modern day king's lifestyle. You cannot say its one of the Royal palaces but yes it has some beauty attached to it. The interiors will not interest you; the open terrace offers a beautiful... More

The place has been built beautifully with great surrounding property but it is sad to see that the current king has not been spending any money in maintaining it, not even ensuring the basic cleaning! Everything inside is covered in dust and is in shambles.

A small palace. Maintenance could have been better. Main attraction is its association with shooting of bollywood movies. Look for the model of the palace which looks illuminated once a picture is clicked with flash on. Vertigo patients beware as the spiral stair case can trigger dizziness.

The Palace is not well maintained but the view from roof top is worth watching. The care taker is a humble and knowledgeable man. This is the place where "Hum dil de Chuke Sanam" was shot.

Yes, the famous bollywood movie Hum dil de chuke sanam has been shoot here. Huge, beautiful, Marvelous architecture will mesmerize you. Visit during winters and morning hours. You may see " Nilgaye" (blue bull) on the road to palace. be careful, do not tease them or they may attack on you.

This place is must visit place in town. There is a beach resort just right next to it for a luxurious stay. Stay will cost like 120$ usd a day. The bad thing is palace is not maintain. The royal family still spends some days there if u r lucky u can have chance to meet them.
