Beautiful Island where Pleasure & Peace comes together. Our trip was 3 days which is enough to explore the Park. Wild life viewing tower is right after the entrance at your left side. Its worth watching. Next is Hecla Village which is one of two most beautiful attractions on island. Spend time at this historic scenic village. Hecla fishing and... More

There was a covered shelter on the opposite of the road, was booked but there is that for an option. There are a lot off outhouses within a short distance. Each group site has their own sets. They are not... More

The lookout tower at the north end past the resort and marina is great, good views from the top. A very rustic park that I am looking forward to camping at next year.

Spent a day hiking and geocaching throughout the park. Really enjoyed the the lake and woods. Had a picnic in an old quarry with some smoked fish we bought at the only store on the island. It was right on the lake and was really beautiful. Several nice beaches, but the water was chilly. If it was hotter out I... More
