I'll admit, before arriving i was more drawn to visiting Santo Winery at the prospect of tasting a variety of local wines - nothing better than having an excuse to sit and drink more than one wine!!!
Fast forward to actually being there and the sun terrace (huge by the way) and View is so spectacular, it eclipsed any tastings...

Incredible views for your wine tasting, however we found many of the house wines in the restaurants preferable to the more expensive Santos wines.

I'll admit, I'm biased as I was married on the terrace of Santo Winery overlooking the caldera. The location is beautiful, everything I hoped for! The winery provided a glass of wine for all of our guests after the ceremony was over.

This Winery tour was great, historic, informative. Santo Winery has some of the best wines i have ever tasted if you love Canadian ice wines and desert wines this is a must see on Santorini. one last thing i must add is the view will leave you speachless.

We wanted to see as much of the island as possible while our cruise ship was here so we booked a half day tour and ended up at the Santo Winery. What a view! We aren't "wine snobs" but loved this place. Bought a bottle of wine to take home and wished we had bought a case.

It was my second wine tasting in Santorini,the wine was very good as well as boutari one ,but the views of the volcano and the whole island was 10 times better in Santo Winery.
