The unspoiled part of Sardinia, preserved by overexploitation by the lack of a coastal road, still keeps exceptional beaches, and some of them are quite easy to access. By finding an accommodation in Fluminimaggiore or Arbus, one can enjoy an intense and satisfying experience in one of the finest seas in the Mediterranean.

The beaches are so different from one another. One beach is all sand. Another beach is all small pebbles that look like sand, but there is no sand. The pebbles massage your feet. The water is cool and gets deep fast. The beaches are worth going to this part of Sardinia.

We took in Costa Verde as part of a drive. From Guspini go on west on the N 126 to Bidderdi, then look for a side road down to Naracauli and on to the southern end of Costa Verde. You'll go through beautiful mountain scenery, pass old mine works and abandoned buildings. The road changes to an unpaved track, which... More

No words can describe the beauty of this fantastic coast. So many beaches, all different and stunning. Gorgeous landscapes. Far from mass tourism, this is truly paradise on earth.

Ended up at Piscinas beach after a long drive. Gorgeous beach (and that is saying something coming from an Australian)! The best and most interesting bit is he drive in through ghost towns populated only by mountain goats. Truly eerie. A whole story is here but you can't get a clear view of who was here when...and why they left.

Absolutely phantastic views along the coastline, from Torre dei Corsari, along Marina di Arbus to Buggerru with its surreal rocks in the Mediterranean Sea. ENJOY!
