£5 per car is a little steep when you consider that there is nowhere inside that you won't be spending money (snack bars, horse riding, segways etc.) However, the beach is simply beautiful, so vast that it doesn't feel crowded even when there are lots of visitors. The sands are soft and white, not something that I would expect in... More

With acres of grassland, woodland and miles of beach, it really is something else. Open all day, walkers are free, car app £5, you can spend hours walking or in good weather, just lounging around. Ideal for families and picnics, there is always a good spot in which to settle down. Safe for children to play and take bikes or... More

Summer price of £5 per car entrance fee, well worth it. We visited on a glorious sunny day, so spent most of the day on the fabulous beach with its sand dunes, was told its 8miles long! Coastguards on duty. Beach Cafe + toilets available. Had an hour at one of the playgrounds, not that busy + something for all... More

Amazing walking (especially if you have dogs), gorgeous woodland and stunning beach/dunes. Camping in the park or at the Caravan Club site. Excellent riding stables. Ski centre, golf/crazy golf, miniature railway etc. Very nice pub/café. Well worth the parking fee. A must-visit for everyone.

Lots to do but still giving an unspoilt country park feel. Close to lovely beach ideal for young and old. Car parks layout very confusing. Only came across one set of toilets near the beach, could do with better cleaning and some soap. Hate those stainless steel toilet bowls!

Lovely place for families, couples or anyone who enjoys the countryside or beaches. It can cost up to £5 to enter but it is well worth it. Once here there is loads of parking and you have a great deal of choice for your entertainment. Walks through the park/woods or beach (a huge section of the beach is dog friendly),... More

Pembrey country park has massive Area's for me and my wife to take our little one to play with the football etc. They have fairly decent sized parks for young ones and older ones. Plenty of activities to do in the park but it can get a little pricey depending on what your doing. But on a nice sunny day... More

My son and I wanted to have a go on the Segways. We went for the 10 min taster session which allows you to learn how to ride them around a small coned off area near the kiosk. Wanting more we then decided to do the 1 hr tour which is led by one of the instructors and takes you... More
