This must be one of the most beautiful places in Scotland. The beach is so clean with beautiful white sand, the water is so clear its like a little piece of heaven up north. We have visited it a few times for its beauty, made even more so beautiful by the sun shining down on it.....

Dog friendly, white sands, clear water and no crowds! We went on a sunny Sunday and it was just wonderful. Can't wait to go again!

I drove up to Portnadoran on Saturday 23rd August for a 3 or 4 day stay at the camping and caravan site. I found a really warm and friendly site with a mixture of tents, motorhomes and caravans on a well laid out level site right on its own private beach. After meeting some of the other campers I eventually... More

Stunning beach with river as well. Car park with toilets. Dunes at back beach. Very clean and pretty quiet.

I will be honest and say that we saw this beach only from the train, but we wished that we had visited it. It is a beautiful stretch of silver sand washed by the clear waters of the sea. We saw it on a beautiful sunny day and it looked like a tropical island scene. We will definitely return.

Stunning sparkly white sandy beach, sand felt like icing sugar, sparkly, never seen anything like it! Water crystal clear. Morar end best access if you are disabled, I just about managed it with walking sticks, car parked on side of road and very gentle slope down. Wheelchair users may struggle in this sand. My Hearing Dog for Deaf People went... More

Cool, crystal clear water, with small fish swimming up to the shore; smooth, clean white sand; small rock cliffs with trees to give shade; one of the best places to be when the weather is good. Found best place to park is on road side right next to the beach, nearly opposite turning for Morar village as car park is... More

Spotlessly clean, rough silver sand made up from a million years worth of crushed shell, with crystal clear torquoise water fresh from the Atlantic. Best areas for picnics are along the old single track road alongside Traigh Golf Links as the lack of parking spaces restricts the number of people on the sands. The water is shallow off the sands...
