Well worth the travel to this cristal clear waters and white sand beaches. Plenty of rock pools and streams to dam. Its also protected from the wind by the sand dunes and the water temp was 15oc. Can't wait to go again.

Coming from Italy the Scottish coast seemed to us a beautiful but harsh environment until we came across this spot. What a pity I hadn't my canoe with me!

We struck gold with this one! We brought the dogs with us who were able to run mad for hours and swim, not many others on the beach. The sand is soft and the water cool. On a day with the right weather you could be mistaken for somewhere tropical!

Stumbled upon this place by accident as we do so many places travelling in a motor home. Only stopped as saw a small carpark with a toilet block and fancied a coffee. After coffee we had a walk as wr had seen dog walkers go along a cliff path so investigated. There was a few fairly easy paths down to... More

This is a secret to keep to yourself.. white sand; crystal clear water; only you and a few jellyfish on the beach. The shortest river and the deepest freshwater loch ( Morar and Morar) are a 5 and 15 minute walk away. Perfect.

We had warm weather so the beach felt like somewhere in the Carribean. The sand is so white and soft but not good to build sand castles

This is a calm and unique place. Silver sand, very gentle water and a relatively still wind that brings a gentle breeze to complete a very special atmosphere. It's a long drive from many places but we'll worth it (we did 1 hr 30 from Fort Augustus (45 mins Fort William )) and rewarding. Recommend the coast road to Traigh... More

It looked like being in the Caribbean: white sand and transparent water (except the water was pretty cold, of course!).

Wonderful white sands, looks more like the Seychelles than Scotland. Great photo opportunities and young children will love playing in the sand. Tougal is indeed beautiful but don't be afraid to walk around all the little sandy bays. Bourblach is opposite Tougal and has beautiful areas too.
