We were on a weekend trip in Newcastle (from Southampton), with not a lot pre-planned for the weekend, and happened upon this little gem at the last minute. We arrived at about 11:30am on a Sunday in November, the park was very quiet (bar one kids' party, though they seemed to be being well controlled by a member of staff,... More

We visited Kirkley Hall to see Mike the Knight. The boys,5 & 3, loved the little zoo, and the adventure play park. Mike the Knight was great with the children. Our only complaint was the restaurant which was slow and the kids food consisted of cheap bread which was thrown. It was a shame as the "grown up" food looked... More

Visited during half term with my wife, 2 daughters, and also my niece and nephew. The entrance fee I thought was excellent, at undated £30 for 2 adults and 4 kids, however the zip wire a little too pricy at £4 a go for each child! The variety of animals was good, and it also looks to be expanding. We... More

OK, you won't find tigers, polar bears and giraffes roaming around but at £18 for a family ticket, you & your family get to see and hear about a broad & diverse range of interesting animals and birds from lemurs to wallabies, scorpions, alpacas, monkeys, parrots and even the...
