Loch Linnhe is absolutely stunning. If you are lucky enough to visit, take the time to experience it - look around at its vastness, when the sun is shining on it, it will take your breath away. All around it the views are amazing. So proud to say I am Scottish and live in one of the most beautiful countries... More

Waking up each morning and gazing out at Loch Linnae was truly a magical and somewhat mystcal experience. The loch is so heart breaking in its vast beauty you must sit on her shores to really experience it. Just go! But be forewarned--you may not want to go home.

We had a balcony room at The Onich Hotel where deckchairs were supplied to enjoy the stunning views over Loch Linnhe. Although it was pretty windy and a bit cloudy the scenery over the Loch is breathtaking.

Travel down the side of Loch Linnhe on business many times a year and the views/Sunsets/Everchanging aspects of the Loch as the wind catches it are stunning. But,the road itself although slowly been upgraded is dangerous,as it is narrow and tourists clearly slowly to take in these beautiful views----the local/regular drivers are not exactly patient and try overtaking at inappropriate... A gorgeous place full of scenic tranquillity, ideal for couples looking for a quiet romantic weekend of relaxation. The drive through nearby Glencoe is breathtaking and a short trip to Ben Nevis 'Nevis Range' for a trip up the mountain by cable car is well worthwhile.

Such a beautiful loch, even when the weather is dull, It runs north from Oban towards Fort William. The road runs along the edge of the lake much of the way
