What a brilliant museum this is I can honestly say it is worth every penny of the entry fee. There is so much to see and do, really informative without the bore factor like some museums. We have been twice now and the second time we used the free entry ticket from our first visit ( if you return within... More

Really good time had by 2 x 4yr old boys and parents. Enough to satisfy curious tiny minds and curious older ones too. Restaurant acceptable but unexciting. Some level of 'buttons to push - stuff happens' for the kids, and at the same time adults can touch and get involved in the aircraft - nice to be able to actually... More

Went for a quick visit at the end of our stay in Somerset. Especially enjoyed the WW2 display and the food was good in the cafe. A very pleasant way to spend an hour or two

One of the perks of travelling around the UK so frequently on business and often to new places is that you have the opportunity to visit our fantastic museums. Last week it was the Titanic in Belfast and this week the Fleet Air Arm at RNAS Yeovilton and I was equally moved by the sheer quality of the display. Tracing... More

A superb visit on a quiet Sunday. Expectations were exceeded by the displays of so much aviation history, the museum is well laid out plenty of direction signs to each display hall and very helpful staff. We arrived at 10am and were still finding things at 4pm it will get a second visit at some point. Thoroughly enjoyed the island... More

A wonderful museum that not only shows the story of flight - and in particular Naval Aviation - but actually gives a walk-through flavour of life on a carrier. 'Spies and Special Operations' feature during Half term holidays allowed children (and a number of adults!) to send morse code, crack safes and learn a little about secret agents! Our family... More

There is so much to see so allow yourself lots of time. The enormous hanger full of suspended planes was good, the glass panels showing planes that had been lost were moving and I couldn't believe how many vehicles they'd got into the final hanger.

Great family outing for rainy days. We visited at half term and there were special events including safe-cracking and face painting. You can walk inside the iconic Concorde. Loads of history and interactive displays.

We visit this museum once or twice a year and there is always something new to see. There is a "Carrier Experience" which is interesting, even if you're not particularly interested in aviation. That is the good thing about the museum; plenty of interactive exhibits and noisy simulations to keep all ages happy!! There is always the bonus of viewing... More

We took two teenagers and an eight year old and they loved every minute of it. The simulated ride in the helicopter and the flight deck when the plane lands are spectacular. The food in the café wasn't very good. I would advise you to take a picnic.
