this lake area is a favorite spot for hikers. there are good tracks around the lake and not too difficult to walk. we were not on high tourist season so there unfortunately was no services like restaurants and coffees open at that time, though a friendly coffee shop keeper did prepare us a cup of strong coffee for us to... It is hard to describe in words the beauty of the Black Lake (Crno jezero). This place is simply amazing and seems almost unreal for this world. Crystal clear water, dense forests, stunning landscape and a feeling of serenity which one rarely comes across. It's not a holiday destination, but you can easily spend 1 day strolling around before moving... More

The lake is very nice. Some seasons it is one lake (rainy seasons) some times 2 lakes - shallower. Look at it also in it's historical significance - here Tito met the first British and Canadian officers during the second world war and after these meetings - The allies started to send a lot of military aid to the Partisans.... Durmitor National Park is absolutely beautiful and I was surprised with the amount of marked and well maintained trails there are. One of my favorite hikes were around the Crno Jezero that eventually led us to SEVERAL other lakes. The hike just around the lake takes about 45 minutes if you're walking at good speed. Even though you can rent... More

Fascinating nature, Lake and surrounding peaks makes scenery as from the fairytale Pity that visitors doesn't care much about clean environment. Needs more infrastructure. And people to take care about the natural treasure.Don't know what for the fee is paid.

This is a national park which had an admission fee. Park at the gate and walk about 15 minutes in to a beautiful pair of twin lakes. They are interesting in that they are bifurcated. In the spring, with all the mountain runoff, one fills and flows into the other with the resultant outflow going into the Tara watershed, and... More

When in Zabliak, make a tour around this nice lake or if you want you can rent a boat. Lovely is also to go for a swim in summer time. We were here in August. It is situated about 3 km. from Zabliak (Durmitor Park-Unesco Heritage). There is a parking. You have to pay 3Euro to enter in the park... More

Crno Jezero is the most popular tourist attraction in Durmitor Park. Actually, there are two lakes - a small one and a big one. The lakes are situated 3km from Žabljak. A 700 m road leads to them and the entrance fee to the park is €3. The views are really beautifully and worth spending some time there.

The lake has something special. The colors you can see at its surface are amazing, and you can only seem them from above, at a certain distance. And, if you are in the mood for swimming, just go around the lake and jump right in!!
