This beach is the most popular on the island, and rightfully so. After some swim you can eat in one of many restaurants, rest and enjoy your time. It is a quite clean and well kept beach, offering also various water sports activities. Rent a deckchair a just hang around.

As a beach, there are much better in Langkawi. It's still pretty clean and quite crowded with tourists but as a whole it's fine. Typical water sports activities like banana boat, jet ski and parasailing on offer. However, was here recently over the New Year and it was great fun. Locals and foreigners alike enjoying the atmosphere, performances, the 'Chinese... More

You can rent sunbeds and umbrellas of 5 star hotels even if you do not stay there, just ask. Very good for children swimming, and swimming area is protected from jet ski, which is not usual in Asia

Banana boats. Trips to islands. Para sailing. Bars. Sun bathing. Restaurants. A real backpacker vibe loads of activity. Lovely scenery of the cliffs.

This beach is supposed to be Langkawi's finest!!! Well if that's the case then I hate to see the others!!! It does have stunning soft white sand, but the whole beach is practically taken over by water sports, making swimming extremely dangerous. The sea was such a horrid colour and you couldn't even see you feet even as you entered... More

This beach is a little too tourist orientated with LOADS of watersports going on all day. Making the water disturbed and not too clear, plus when we visited there were many jellyfish. Best bet is to head up to the north western beaches which are smaller and far more beautiful !

Very nice sandy beach. You could spent there whole day. Just go on the beach and find your place - rent a chair with umbrella and enjoy in empty place. There is not a lot of people in the water. But the water here is no for swimming, because there is tooooo much water sport. In the future they should... More

This is a peaceful, calm beach to stroll along etc. There are a few organised water toy operators however, they are only stationed in a smallish area leaving plenty of other places to sit in peace. At night it is great to walk along and see all the lights belonging to the cafes etc but once again they are not... More
