It was amazing experience. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to see Tiger but I could see Wild elephants, Bison, Spotted Deer and peacock. I didn't stay overnight but later I thought it's worth staying in Parambikulam. There are few activities which you can do only if you are staying there. (That's what I heard from people who were with... More

We visited Parambikulam wildlife reserve with our three children aged 9,7 and 4. We had quite a few problems trying to book our accommodation within the reserve. they have an elaborate website but it's actually pretty hard to navigate - and you can't make e mail enquiries or book on line - you have to phone them up. Often the... More

About two and a half hours from palakkad, parambikulam tiger reserve is a great spot for wildlife enthusiasts. Take the bus which starts from palakkad at 7.40 directly to the reserve. Renting a tented niche is probably the most comfortable stay. The staff makes some real good food, I have to say and are very professional. We didn't spot any... More

We were a group that varied from 3 to 73. All age groups thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Very professionally organized and SUPER helpful staff. Mosquitos were not a problem at Honeycomb and did not need to use the AC though we booked a room with one. The ranger (Rajesh) was great and very helpful. He tailored our experience to accommodate... Parambikulam is a part of Westernghats where pristine forest is in plenty. Located in the muthalamada village of Palakkad Dt ( kerala ) Its a place you don't want to be missed if you are in and around Kerala.

1. We visited Parambikulam Tiger Reserve (PTR) between 8th and 10 Dec 2015. 2. We took a flight to Coimbatore. And drove down 90 Kms to Parambikulam (Coimbatore - Pollachi - Anamalai - Sethumadai - Topslip - Parambikulam Information Centre). One has to cross 3 check posts (Sethumadai & Anamalai in Tamil Nadu, and one more on Kerala border. 3.... More
