The bridge is very cool to drive through. It is one way with no stop light at either end...seems to work on east coast kindness, a few cars go through one way then a few the other way.

One of the few remaining covered bridges you can still drive on. At 1282 feet, this is the longest covered bridge in the world! And, it is beautiful to boot! For us, it was wonderful to be enclosed in the bridge while driving across feeling as though time might have taken us back to an earlier age...to a time when... More

This bridge is really neat. Don't make a special trip to see unless you are planning to also visit the chip factory and some gift shops. But if you are driving by Hartland, be sure to take the time to drive through it. It really is an impressive sight and my four year old made me drive through it three... More

This makes a great stop when driving down east. Historical spot with a great picture op. The tourist information beside the bridge is very helpful.

Being on a road trip, it was a nice relax between a long drive between Quebec City to Haifax. The view was amazing and it was relaxing to walk across the LONG covered bridge. We drove to the opposite side and walked back to where we came from. Very well maintained and there were flowers everywhere! :)

We were on a 14 day road trip and were always Jo for something new. Just a short bit out of our way, but worth it. Fun to see and great photo op. no places to really eat in the area but they do have a nice picnic area if you bring something with you. Nice rest stop.

We stopped here as a quick break on our road trip through NB. Kids thought it was neat for a moment and liked making a wish, but it is a bit of a drive off the highway for a moment of intrigue. It's worth it if you have the time, but not the end of the world if you miss... More

I have lived near this bridge for 33 years, and I always like walking across it. A nice way to look at the river, the town of Hartland and experience this historic bridge

We unexpectedly arrived in Hartland looking for a place to stay, not knowing it was home to the worlds longest covered bridge. Rode down the hill on our bikes and then through the bridge, very cool on bicycles! This is a very nice little town that also has a great view of the sunset!
