We caught the L90 bus from stand C at Wynyard Station around 11am on Saturday, and it took about 2hrs to get there due to the amount of traffic. I'd definitely recommend going a little earlier. The bus was about $3.50 each way with an opal card, and $4.70 without one. The beach was amazing, really clean, not that many... More

A lovely clean beach with shops and surfing shops behind it. Parking easy and cheap. Well worth a visit - didn't see any Home & Away filming though!

I am English and use to watch Home and Away so I had to go here. We travelled by ferry and also caught the bus between the locations once there. Spent the day in the area and there is plenty to see. An amazing restaurant on the water was a hi light. All the family enjoyed the day and I... More

Nice beach, bit lonely and quiet when no film crews about. strong current in sea easy to recognise by the baronjoey lighthouse on hilltop and surf club that's not actually used like on tv (as its set lockup) but Alf Stewarts name on board above doors. Must visit early morning to catch h&a cast in action. Worth visit whether you... More

Palm Beach is situated approximately 40km from Sydney CBD at the end beach of the Northern suburbs peninsula. Barrenjoey Headland and lighthouse strongly dominates the end of the Northern Peninsula with its stunning views of West Head and Ku ring Gai Chase National Parks. Palm Beach is famous for numerous things, mainly being the location for the popular TV series... More

Best kept secret when visiting Sydney is the walk along Palm Beach and Pittwater up to the light house. Fantastic views and a lovely walk. Several places for good coffee along the way! You can drive or catch the L90 bus from town if you have time.
