I went to Coiba on a liveaboard 15 years ago, so I was leery that the diving had degenerated--It had not! Scuba Coiba is an excellent dive operation. The owner Herbie is fair and helpful, and he'll get you local hotel reservations. The Dive Master Cedric is outstanding. I have over 750 dives and have been diving with hundreds of... More

We dove for 3 days with Scuba Coiba (two 3-tank dives and one 2-tank dive). The dive boat we used (the orca) had a solid rooftop and was quite spacious. Every dive site we visited had something new to offer, and the two instructors whom we dove with were not only friendly and professional, but new how to spice up... More

Great diving on Coiba islands off coast. Really wasn't easy diving with currents but great results. Saw Frog fish, sharks, & Sea horses. Its long boat ride out to Coiba islands (2 hours). Rented camera to take some good underwater photos. Staff was good and professional.

My wife and i we dove 4 days with scuba Coiba and made 12 Dives. The diving was nice and Cedric the guide was very professional. The dive shop and the boat need a general renovation, this is fact. I had more than 20 years my own dive shop and this can be much better. I hope Herbi will do... More

I ‘been diving with scuba coiba every time I went to Santa Catalina, it’s a good price/value relationship. But this last time certainly didn’t, the weather was terrible and the only boat with roof was left in Coiba Island, so for people diving from Santa Catalina is 3 hours per day taking the heavy rain in the face and body... When we first started planning our dive trip to Coiba Island we sent out the customary emails to different dive shops to see what they offer and prices. Herbie was the most professional and prompt response we have ever received. We emailed him quite a few times in the planning stages and he was always right on it getting us... More

Thank you very much to review us Karen. We are happy, that you had such a good experience with one of our multi-day trips, even if you did not see a whale shark, though you have been diving here at the right time. We have seen quite a lot between January and March and usually see some end of October... More

It isn't cheap but the guides were great and the wildlife we saw was varied and fantastic. Super day.

The whole day with the scuba and snorkel team was fantastic, the only thing we would like to newton is the seats in the boat. If they can fix them and make the journey better then there will nothing nobody would dislike.

Scuba Coiba is one of the four divecenter located in Santa Catalina, Panama. It might look a bit smalll and unorganized from outside bit it's a high professional divecenter with awesome instructors and a very friendly and cool team! They can organize you nearly any wish and help you with whatever you need. The boat ride to Coiba is 1... More
