We rented kayaks and gear from Fluid Adventures and spent 7 days on our own exploring and island hopping from the ranger's station and Machete, a beautiful secluded beach that Fluid Adventures utilizes as a bases for their guided trips. There were two nights while we were out that Machete was vacant of guided groups and we were so glad... More

We spent 2 nights on Coiba. 3 families, 12 people. 6 kids, 15 years old and under. Liz and Adam were our guides. They were fun and made it educational. It was a highlight of our Spring Break vacation in Panama.

I should first mention I did not actually take part in an exhibition with this company and am writing this review to explain why. My boyfriend and I wanted to go on a snorkeling day trip and then be dropped off on Isla Coiba to camp for the night and return to Santa Catalina in the morning. We spoke with... More

We were four 60-ish women who took the three day Coiba Island adventure. Loved it! Loved it! The other three group members were a married couple and a woman traveling alone. Our group paddling skill level ranged from nil to significant. Liz worked her tail off to make sure everyone had an optimum experience. She fed us, shepherded us on... More

Did the 4-day Coiba Island sea kayak tour through Fluid Adventures in January 2015. What a great experience. One hour by motor boat out to Coiba Island then camping on the beach in a tent for 3 nights. Good food (all prepared by our great guide, Liz), small group, good exercise but not too difficult, fantastic snorkeling! Thanks Mike for... More

We had a great time in our 3 day / 2 night trip to Coiba. Liz was unstoppable - I'm still to figure out where she gets the energy to paddle, do the guide and cook. Given the amount of resources (Liz, and then Adam on our last day) they did really well. It's roughly a 1h30 to Coiba (nice... More

We rented a Sea Kayak from Michael at Fluid Adventures. He's totally laid back and easy to work with. The equipment was good and we had a great experience. Note: He doesn't take credit cards but you can pay him through paypal.

I was dreaming about kayaking around Coiba. When I read about fluid adventures, I was excited! I communicated with Micheal, months ahead of my trip. I booked a three days, 2 nights kayaking trip to Coiba, which Michael confirmed by email a month before departure. I was very disappointed to learn, two days before the trip, that he couldn't offer... More

Am happy you still had a great experience out there. I felt really bad that in the end I was only able to offer a 2 day..and was glad I caught it a few days prior. We can't always fully accommodate solo travellers but we certainly try. Good to know about the gear..the double, a Wilderness Systems Beluga out there,... More

If you travel to Panama, you shouldn't miss a trip to Isla Coiba. This is definitely one of the most amazing places I've ever seen. My husband and I arranged a 2 days-tour with Fluid Adventures and I can really warmly recommend it. Michael, the owner, was super since the planning phase: he always answered my emails very quickly and... More
