We had a great time in our 3 day / 2 night trip to Coiba. Liz was unstoppable - I'm still to figure out where she gets the energy to paddle, do the guide and cook. Given the amount of resources (Liz, and then Adam on our last day) they did really well. It's roughly a 1h30 to Coiba (nice... More

We rented a Sea Kayak from Michael at Fluid Adventures. He's totally laid back and easy to work with. The equipment was good and we had a great experience. Note: He doesn't take credit cards but you can pay him through paypal.

I was dreaming about kayaking around Coiba. When I read about fluid adventures, I was excited! I communicated with Micheal, months ahead of my trip. I booked a three days, 2 nights kayaking trip to Coiba, which Michael confirmed by email a month before departure. I was very disappointed to learn, two days before the trip, that he couldn't offer... More

Am happy you still had a great experience out there. I felt really bad that in the end I was only able to offer a 2 day..and was glad I caught it a few days prior. We can't always fully accommodate solo travellers but we certainly try. Good to know about the gear..the double, a Wilderness Systems Beluga out there,... More

If you travel to Panama, you shouldn't miss a trip to Isla Coiba. This is definitely one of the most amazing places I've ever seen. My husband and I arranged a 2 days-tour with Fluid Adventures and I can really warmly recommend it. Michael, the owner, was super since the planning phase: he always answered my emails very quickly and... More

We spent two weeks in Panama and this trip to the island with Fluid adventures was our highlight. While it is expensive it is worth the experience. They are the only company that has permission to camp on a remote beach in this national park and spending so much time kayaking, swimming, snorkeling and relaxing in this pristine place can't... Thanks for your response! We feel this is a very special place and feel honoured to use and camp in the area(s) that we do. This is a relationship developed over many years with the park and of responsible, minimal impact use. The increase impact of the cruise ships is disheartening for those of us that have been here and... More

We booked a snorkel tour of Coiba for 4. The goggles and snorkels were old and dirty. Goggles didn't work well. Snorkel was broken. Even the fins were torn. The boat trip takes 90 minutes in the small local driven boats. Aside from that, our tour guide Adam was nice and enjoyable. Took a hike and saw howler monkeys, a... More

Thanks for your note. We had 3 trips running at the same time and were unfortunately down to older stock and new snorkels which have been since tossed. Re having a faster boat..we intentionally run at the pace we do. A big part of the experience is following the coastline and journey on sea to/from Coiba. Faster boats burn gas/oil,... More

Our family of 5 with young kids just finished our trip, and we couldn't be happier. Michael is a Canadian expat who runs the business, and he is truly amazing. Not only was he responsive before the trip during our email exchange to book the tour to Coibas, but he was completely up front and honest about expenses (which we... More

In Feb 2014, we went to Isla de Coiba with Fluid Adventures Panama. My family and I arranged a day of snorkeling/sightseeing trip. Initially this trip was last minute idea, and was impress by Fluid Adventures expedient response. We corresponded with Michael by email a few days earlier, in regard to planning our trip. I am so happy that we booked the 2 night/3 day trip to Coiba with Fluid Adventures. We had an incredible time kayaking, snorkelling, and camping at some of the most beautiful beaches and reefs. Michael was friendly, easy going, and was able to accommodate a gluten free diet - in fact the food was delicious! I HIGHLY recommend doing... More
