The whole area around is like a "Swiss cheese" , full of mining shafts. The mine has a grand history for 500 years. 155 meters below ground you can eat, listen to music and sleep and feel the presens of old ghosts. More

I learned a lot of the two tours I made in Sala Silvermine. Ask your guide to sing a song when standing beside one of the lakes. You will be impressed for a long time. More

My husband and I spent the night in the Mine Suite 155 metres underground which was quite an experience! As we arrived after the final mine tour of the day, one of the guides gave us an excellent private tour of the mine on the 155 m level, showed us the room and how the emergency walkie talkie worked, poured... How interesting can a disused slivermine be? Well, more than a little, I must admit. Being a 155 metres underground, in the cold, dark and sometimes narrow tunnels is an experience in itself. We went on the 155 meter tour and had a brilliant time. This place has a great history and the tour guides are friendly and informative. You will be in awe at some of the sights on offer.
